If you're a makeup lover for quite some time now, you will know that Make Up For Ever's Ultra HD complexion line is pretty legendary; to those who are new to makeup or to the brand, Ultra HD is famous among makeup artists, beauty influencers, and makeup aficionados as the "invisible, perfecting foundation"; I've been a user of the foundation for a long time now and whenever I have to do my own makeup in shoots, I always bring this with me because this has never failed me in camera; the line was brought into the spotlight first by Ultra HD Loose Powder (the translucent one), which is one of my favorite mattifying, oil- controlling, super lightweight translucent powder.

They recently came out with the new Ultra HD Setting Powder, this time in tinted format. Let me tell you why you should get this if you are the pressed/loose powder kinda' gal because it looks so invisible yet so good in photos and irl!

There's not much info online for this product yet even in the main website; looks like this is a region- specific product and the respective MUFE branches in the regions where this product will be sold are yet to come out with the full details; in the Philippines so far, a poster of the product is already up in Lazada Philippines details of the product now available at MUFE Philippines Facebook fan page, but the product is not available in the e-commerce platform just yet. Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Setting Powder is a tinted powder range that promises to be light as air and control oil for up to 12 hours and prolong makeup life up to 24 hours all while staying invisible. Makeup For Ever's Micro-Fine Powder is engineered to be their thinnest powder yet that guarantees invisible, flawless coverage even in the sharpest cameras, making it ideal even as a fixing powder for cakey foundation without adding extra weight to your look. Ideal tone to tone shade matching technology enables the powder to match your face to your overall skin tone by covering and correcting existing skin color. The powder comes in 15 shades, which is the largest shade range for a setting powder according to the brand.

It's quite a generous size for a setting powder and I love the new packaging feature: there's a lid that's hinged onto the sifter that separates the powder puff from the product and with pins that directly cover each hole on the sifter to prevent spillage; it's the first time I saw this ever in a loose powder packaging and I think it's brilliant!

The soft, velour puff comes with every purchase of the powder and in a suedette bag; it's my first time to encounter this powder puff and I love it because it's so smooth, so plush, and so gentle on the skin; it's great for baking and gently spreading loose powder across the skin without erasing your liquid foundation layer.

My shade is Sable Sand. It's a medium tan shade with a neutral undertone. This is a shade darker than my skin tone, but if things were normal, I think this will suit my skin tone just right because I'm exposed to the sun everyday and I get to travel, activities that help me maintain my warmer tan. My tan has just gotten so dull because of being stuck inside the house for so long. Also, check out how sheer the powder is!

Here's my face with Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Liquid Foundation in my shade: Y365. I mean, look.at.that.coverage. Can you even tell I'm wearing liquid foundation?! Lawd, it's so invisible and that's why it's one of my staple liquid foundations!

Here's a close- up of my skin set with the powder. Look at the skin- like coverage and closeness of the powder shade to my skin tone! Powder?! What powder?!

The low dust powder indeed feels lightweight on the skin and is quite easy to spread and even out. It doesn't leave patches on the skin and has a soft, smooth feel. The tone- correcting capability is good because the powder was able to match my face to my neck and the rest of my skin tone. I can also say that this is a really good powder because despite it being a shade darker than my skin tone, there's none of that ashy tone-just a warmer shade of brown and it's as if your skin just got a little toasted in the sun, not having a layer of odd- colored powder on top of your face.

Make Up For Ever said that this can control oil for up to 12 hours. It has good oil control, but not up to 12 hours as I find that I have to blot my skin after 3 or 4 hours of wear, but the nice thing about the powder is it doesn't fade that much, which goes to show that this has good skin adherence. What I like most about it is it feels so light on the skin, as if I have nothing on, and it looks so good in person and in photos; it's  sheer, but pigmentation is good so you really see that it's making a difference on your skin tone when you dust it on.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Setting Powder is a really good powder; arguably one of the best ones I have tried because of its sheerness and good pigmentation; it's has the best qualities that I'm looking for in a powder. Great for dry and semi- oily skin types. It's a great skin pick-me-upper before a zoom meeting because it improves and evens out your skin tone instantly, a multitasking powder great for shoots as it can set and retouch/blot foundation, and a good, lightweight correcting powder for your odd- colored liquid/cream bases. This powder does a lot and it really stays true to Make Up For Ever's Ultra HD signature quality and that is invisible flawlessness up close whether in person or in camera!
