THE VERDICT:

I’ve been a brow pomade user for years; in fact, at one point in my life, it was the only brow product that I was using because I just love the formula and the way it gives me sharp, well- defined brows. And brow pomades have been pretty notorious for their hard, waxy, not-so-breezy to blend texture; and this is one of the reasons why I think most people would shy away from brow pomades-it’s simply a bit challenging to use.

And here comes Benefit with their newest offering, which gives brow pomade lovers a new product to add to their collection and those who are hesitant about the product a new reason to give it a shot. Introducing Benefit Cosmetics POWmade Brow Pomade, which is the smoothest brow pomade I have tried, not to mention it’s very long- lasting too; this product once again cements Benefit as one of the authorities in brow product supremacy!

Benefit POWmade, the newest brow product from Benefit, promises 36- hour waterproof, sweat- proof, oil- proof coverage, a formula that won’t dry out, and a brush wiper for controlled, clean coverage. It comes in 8 shades.

I think the brush wiper is a nice tool! This solves the problem of taking too much product in the beginning, which can result to a very thick, unnatural- looking coverage. And if you're wondering, nope, it doesn't minimize the size of the product!

Benefit has also released the new Dual Ended Brow Brush (P1,190) with thicker, synthetic bristles.

The bristles are synthetic and is slightly fluffier than their precise dual ended brow brush, which they have released years ago and I still love and use up to this day; what’s nice about this is it is great for achieving medium to heavy coverage and the density of the brush helps with proper evening out of the product on my brows. All in all a good brush, especially if you like dramatic brows like me.

Warm Light Brown 3 is a medium deep brown with a charcoal undertone; it isn't exactly light brown in my opinion, but I like the charcoal undertone because it suits my current hair color and generally suits the common natural hair color of Filipinas.

This is arguably the smoothest brow pomade that I have tried: very easy to smooth out, blend, and to spread. It has medium to heavy coverage and it's has a thinner texture compared to other waxy brow pomades that I have tried so this one looks much more natural- looking. It dries easily, doesn't clump, and doesn't cling onto my brows. Staying power is amazing! It stays on the whole day with very minimal fading!

Benefit POWmade is perfect for those who want a very easy to use brow pomade, those with oily skin, and those who want a pomade texture that is smoother, lighter, and non-waxy!
