TBJ TRAVELS: Singapore Travel Requirements for Tourists 2022

TBJ TRAVELS: Singapore Travel Requirements for Tourists 2022 morena lifestyle blog
So are you planning to visit Singapore this year? Then here are the requirements that you should prepare in order to have a smooth- sailing experience!

Please note that these are the requirements of the Singapore government for tourists last July 2022. Requirements may change without further notice so I highly recommend that you check for updates on Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority's official website. Please take note as well that these are the requirements for Filipino citizens traveling as tourists to Singapore only.

Singapore has become the top tourist destination for the past few months because it is one of the first countries that have relaxed their travel and health requirements for tourists when the world started opening its doors to traveling last March 2022.

So what were the requirements that we had to compile and submit before traveling to Singapore?

1. PHILIPPINE PASSPORT- should not be expiring in less than 6 months before your travel.

2. ROUNDTRIP TICKET AND ACCOMMODATION- you need to secure these before you can apply for the Singapore ICA pass.

2\3. VACCINE CERTIFICATE- Singapore accepts all tourists even unvaccinated travelers.

Here's a list of approved  COVID-19 vaccines by the government of Singapore:

- AstraZeneca
- Covaxin
- Covishield
- Moderna/Spikevax
- Janssen/J&J
- Pfizer/BioNtech/Comirnaty
- Novavax
- Sinopharm
- Sinovac
- CanSinoBio

If your vaccine brand is not in the list, please inquire about how you will proceed with your trip at Singapore ICA website.

Fully vaccinated and boosted individuals will only need to present the vaccine certificate. Unvaccinated/partially vaccinated travelers must present a negative RT-PCR/Rapid Antigen Test result two days prior departure; also, the latter individuals may be given additional requirements and conditions such as quarantine, stay-at-home requirement, or a controlled itinerary so better visit Singapore ICA website for details.

To obtain your vaccine certificate, get it at https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph/#/. Download the page with the QR code and save on your phone or print it out.

4. VACCINATION CARD- it must be the latest one. Bring it with you just in case the immigration will ask for it.

5. SINGAPORE ARRIVAL CARD- this must be accomplished 2 days prior your departure. You can only fill this up 3 days before your departure date; we tried doing it earlier, but the website wasn't letting us through. Go to ICA SG ARRIVAL CARD WEBSITE to accomplish this requirement.

Remember, you won't be allowed entry to Singapore if you do not accomplish this card!

6. TRACE TOGETHER APP SINGAPORE- Trace Together Singapore app, which is made by the government of Singapore. You just have to download and fill it in with your personal and travel details and activate it once you get to Singapore. The Singapore immigration did not ask for this from us though, but it's still best to download and have this app ready in case they ask for it.

7. DIGITALLY VERIFIABLE VACCINATION CERTIFICATE ONLINE REGISTRATION- basically, this is your vaxcert and you have to register it online at ICA's website. Click HERE to register your Vaxcert.

8. PH BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION TRAVEL DECLARATION FORM- you will submit this at our local immigration. Download it HERE.

That's it! Now other information that might be useful before your trip:

1. Traveling with a minor who's not your offspring, check out DSWD TRAVEL CLEARANCE FOR MINORS
2. A travel insurance is not required, but highly recommended. The local immigration asked for this before we departed. I assume that they're more lenient to travelers with travel insurance because there's still a pandemic, you know?
3. Children who are fully vaccinated, but not boosted and are below 12 years of age do not need to present a negative RT-PCR/Antigen test result before entering the Philippines, but passengers 13 and above will need it.

That's all! Tomorrow, join me in Days 1 and 2 of TBJ Travels Singapore!

  1. Good to know that RT PCR is not needed anymore. Makes traveling a little bit easier, compared to Japan that still need rt PCR and must travel in a group tour.
