Thanks to the Internet, I've found out that there is a skin care brand called Bioderma. If you may recall, Beauty Bloggers and enthusiasts in the Philippines started talking about this brand online about a year ago and the product of interest is the Sensibio Micellar Water, which, according to most users, is one of the gentlest makeup removers around town, plus it has helped their skin in some ways too. Given that, why don't I have a Bioderma- related blog post in my blog? Because for one, it is not available locally, although there are some online retailers who are selling it and I don't know why I wasn't interested to order at all. I also saw this product in Matsumoto Kiyoshi during my Japan trip and still, I wasn't able to purchase it because I had no more luggage space!
Well, well, well-look what we have here! It's Bioderma and hallelujah, it's now in the country! Finally, I can satisfy my Bioderma curiosity!
"BIOlogy at the service of DERMAtology"-this is where French skin care brand Bioderma got its name. Founded 35 years ago by pharmacist-biologist Jean Noel Thorel, Bioderma aims to give you healthy, resilient skin by restoring its integrity and supporting its natural biological processes.
"When skin suffers, more than treating it, it should be taught to live according to its natural biology." -Bioderma principle
Bioderma employs this principle through Biological Mimetism, a research based on designing molecules that trigger Biomimetic actions in the skin. To put it simply, this system encourages the skin to protect itself the way it should from internal and external aggressors-when other products rely on ingredients to treat your skin problems, Bioderma encourages the skin to use its own forces, thus upholding its very own threshold.

Would love to try the ones for sensitive skin! Too bad it's a little steeply priced.
ReplyDeleteI am really super duper excited that Bioderma will be available soon in Watsons!!! I am so eager to try the Sensibio H2O Make up remover, Photoderm SPF50+ and the Cicabio Creme...
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that Bioderma has other products other than the Micellar water! I've bought Bioderma online and I think it's kinda cheaper than the price you mentioned. But it's easier to buy when it's in stores na. Can't wait for it to arrive in Watson's! What I love about it is that it doesn't smell bad, it's not oily, it removes makeup easily even with a small amount of product, and it leaves my face soft and smooth. I would hoard Bioderma if it's not that pricey. Haha. Glad to know the other products from Bioderma. Will give them a try once I'm done with my other products. :D
ReplyDeleteWhoa! I'd love to try each and every product they're offering. I'm even more excited to head to the nearest Watson's now!
