Are you looking for a really good
yet very affordable contouring/highlighting/blush kit that has a good mix of
matte and shimmery powders with a really nice texture plus shades to choose
from? Two words: Cathy Doll.
Admit it, some cheap contouring
kits are either too chalky or the powders are just either purely matte or
shimmer and Cathy Doll is here to offer something else and something good
called Nefertiti Contour Kit. Check out this thang!
WHAT IS IT?
Nefertiti Contour Kit is a
contouring/highlighting/blush palette that comes in three color combinations.
Ingredients
The products are in a see-
through palette and a cut out box that allow you to see them in actual.
L-R: Contour, highlight,
blush
Pigmentation is medium to heavy;
the powders have a nice silky texture that results to an even color payoff and
they glide on smoothly with no fallout, surprisingly.
My palette is in the combination
called 2 Nefertiti Weapon; here’s what I think about the products inside:
The contouring powder has a matte
finish and a warm brown shade; I wish that its undertone is either neutral or
taupe because I love how these mimic the natural shadows on the face, but this
is just me.
The highlighting powder is a warm
pearl shade with shimmer; the shimmers are fine; nothing chunky and they give
skin a nice glow; you can build it as well if you want a sexy strobe finish.
The
blush powder is a pink-peach shade with shimmer; reminds me a bit of NARS
Orgasm; this one looks really good on warm skin; on pale skin, it adds color
and a bit of warmth.
HOW IS IT? WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
As for the staying power, these
stay put, especially on oily skin. What’s nice about it is the colors don’t
fade and leave you with streaks of shimmer, unlike other similar cheap products
I have tried.
Overall, this is a good product
for beauties on a budget and those who are still starting out in this amazing
world of cosmetics!

The highlighter reminds me of wet n wild megaglo highlighting powder in the shade the sweetest bling and i love that product but now cathy doll has this contour/highlighter/blush in one and for 299 only? That's a great deal and as i can see on ur swatches that its really is pigmented. Oh my i cant wait to get my hands on it. 😍😍😍

ReplyDeleteAng mura ng pangcountor! Affordable sa kagaya kong student and pwede din syang pangEyeshadow. I remember my vface duo countor from maybelline. Ginawa kong pangeyeshadow yung darkshade kasi di ako marunong magcontour kaya pangeye shadow lang 😂😂😂

Maghahanap ako ng mabibilhan nyan dito sa amin ate, im in love with their eyeshadow paletted din kasi ang ganda ng mga shades! I've read a lot of review sa sikat na sikat na Cathy Doll na ito. I've watched their product launch too! Wishing I was there too! Hihi. That palette reminds me of my NAKED countour, blush and highlighter palette. The shades and effects are quite similar. The difference is that, this one is quite cheaper. Yaaaaaay! Sana ma try ko rin ito ate para masabi ko difference kasi super fave ko dati ung NAKED ko. kaso ubos na. hehe. Keep smiling ate!!!! <3 God bless us!
Got this contouring kit in the same shade! Definitely agree with your review Ms. M 😊 Using the BYS Contour kit before, but the highlighter there is just like powder for me, no shimmer whatsoever and the contour turns orange on me. Loved the blush though. This Cathy doll does not oxidize on me so it is a good switch!
