I'M REALLY HAVING A PROBLEM VIEWING MY FOLLOWERS. I CAN'T SEE 'EM ANYMORE! IT'S BEEN 3 WEEKS. I THOUGHT MY INTERNET CONNECTION'S THE PROBLEM BUT I'VE BEEN TO PLACES WITH LIGHTNING- SPEED WIFI CONNECTIONS BUT STILL, I CAN'T SEE MY CONTACTS. SO THERE'S REALLY SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY BLOG.
HOW DO I RESOLVE THIS? SOME PEOPLE ARE ASKING ME WHY THEY CAN'T VIEW MY FOLLOWERS AND THEY CAN'T SEE THE FOLLOW BUTTON SO THEY CAN'T SUBSCRIBE TO MY BLOG. AHHH!!! I'M LOSING FOLLOWERS!!! PLEASE HELP ME :(
ANOTHER THING, I'M PRETTY BORED WITH MY LAYOUT. IT'S BEEN MY LAYOUT EVER SINCE I STARTED BLOGGING. SO HOW DO I CHANGE MY BLOG WITHOUT LOSING MY FOLLOWERS? I DID IT LAST TIME AND MY FIRST 10 FOLLOWERS WERE GONE, ALONG WITH THE FOLLOWER'S BOX. THE REASON WHY I CAN'T CHANGE MY BLOG SKIN IS BECAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE ALL MY FOLLOWERS, ESPECIALLY NOW, I CAN'T SEE 'EM SO I CANT ASK EVERYONE TO FOLLOW ME AGAIN. :(

it might work..
i said before that everytime i use my mum's pc, i can't blog that much..i can't upload pics,etc...but with my desktop, everything is ok..
try to just change the skin of your blog..
i tried tampering with the layout before & i hate the outcome...
i was able to have a 3 column layout, but i think it's just not working fine..that's why i just stuck with what im currently using since it just changes the skin of my blog..not the whole layout itself..
do i make sense?

1) losing followers because you changed your layout doesn't happen (unless they left on their decision). The physical list that you see is a widget for blogspot. when you change your lay out, just put your widgets back.
ReplyDelete2) I don't know how to explain why you can't view your followers. refresh the widget? Unless you are talking about your dashboard of blogs you've subscribed too, that's another story. My dashboard sometimes resets, and to just get around it, I just put a blogroll and use that (In which you have done). but if you really can't see your followers, then its a widget problem. at that point. . . find someone from the Blogger help? although, I can see your followers. so it could either be that a java script is not enabled on your computer (see if you need to update it?). Finding out if its updated is a different story.
3) you can find many new layouts just by typing in "Blogspot layouts" or "Blogspot Templates" in any search engine, you're bound to find something.

i know what you're talking about, the blog roll, it's in my dashboard and i see updates of the blogs i'm following. i'm talking about my follower's box, it's right above my posts/entries. :D

i just cant see the mini icons you used to have at the top of your blog. just a blank rectangle in there.
its my problem with my blog too, apparently I used an old layout and the follow button cant be seen, even if i add the widget. can someone help me too haha!

if thats the case, then it either a java script is not enabled, or the encoding of the widget went all weird.
since that narrows it down a lot. I think it will just require some fiddling with the layout when you put up a new one or just poking at the follower widget. :D

ReplyDeletehow do i fiddle with the widget or the layout? if ever i'll go to the layout section, i'll click the FOLLOWERS widget then all i see are boxes with colors to customize your follower's box. there are no settings whatsoever. all i see is a blank rectangle in my page. :(
now my followers are already 83 but i still can't see them. :(
I see your followers, are you using IE? Try Firefox or Google Chrome.
