Here's an initial review on HERBENCH PRETTY WHEN PINCHED LIP AND CHEEK GEL.

THE VERDICT:

This is a newly improved formula of Bench's Cosmetics Pretty when Pinched Cheek gel which came in a dark red- violet color years ago.

Personally, I like the revamping of the Bench Cosmetics. The overall physical appearance of their products are quite enticing. They could even pass as cosmetics priced at 500- 1000php!

So let's now go to the actual product. It's in the shade 01, a red- pink color. The consistency is well, gel. And I like that it's not messy unlike liquid lip and cheek stains that can spill.

Here's the product on my lips. It's just like lip balm. I also like that the color pay- off is great. A very small amount is able to cover my entire lips while giving it a generous amount of color.

The only tricky part is the cheek application. You have to be fast on this one. So once you apply it on your cheeks, make sure to blend it quickly because it can leave a nasty streak. 

Overall, I like this product. It's cheap, economical and handy. It also comes in the shade 02, which I think is the original Bench Pretty When Pinched staple dark red- violet shade. 

Bench also has a liquid lip and cheek stain, which comes only in a dark red- violet color. The packaging is much like Benefit's Benetint. It has an arc handle on the cap, which I think is cute, but useless.

So if you're planning to splurge on Benetint, FORGET IT. This is a much CHEAPER and BETTER alternative.
