THE VERDICT:

Avon's newest lipstick line lets you sport lipstick and enjoy the benefits of lip balm at the same time with their Moisture Seduction Lipsticks. These good-enough-to-eat lipsticks hydrates while providing intense color for a luscious- looking lip.

What it's made of. Check it out!

If you want cheap yet good lipsticks, Avon should be your go- to brand. I've always loved the brand for their affordable and good quality make- up.

The cases are made of black plastic with silver metal tubes that house the lipstick. Quite cheap- looking, but I can't complain because it's only 259php!

The lipstick comes in tons of shades to match your outfit and mood. These lipsticks also have a sweet perfume- y scent.

Look at those ribbons of moisture that create a beautiful marbleized look. Definitely one of the most unique lipsticks I've ever seen. Those white glimmering ribbons are the hydrating stuff that keep your lips soft and kissable all- throughout the day.

Swatch on my hand. It gives off a satin finish with a slight sheen. At first swipe, it does give off an "okay" pigmentation. Layer it on a bit if you want a surge of color.

Red kiss is a fuschia- based red lipstick. Depending on what skin tone it's on, it has a tendency to look fuschia on dark skin tones, and red violet on fairer skin tones.

I also noticed that the lipstick color changes depending on what lighting you're in. Here's the lippie under artificial lighting. It looks more of a red lipstick here with a hot pink undertone.

And here's the lipstick under natural lighting. Surprisingly, it looks fuschia. I'd like to believe that this can be a dupe for MAC's Full Fuschia lipstick. And one great thing, the shade makes your teeth look white!

Here's a comparison pic.

Overall, the lipsticks are not so good and not so bad. In my experience with Avon, I do get the quality I paid for every time I purchase any make- up from Avon. They're not so good because the ribbons of moisture may be affecting the shades, hence the erratic color pay- off. And the shades are too pink- based.

They're not so bad because they're affordable, the ribbons of moisture really kept my lips hydrated, practically lasts all day, doesn't stain your lips, and you can control the pigmentation depending on how much color you put on your lips.

Overall, I wouldn't buy this again not because it's an "okay" product, but because I don't like repurchasing different colors from a certain lipstick line. If you're a newbie to beauty or a beauty on a budget, Avon has got to be one of the brands that I will recommend if you want to start building your make- up kit. Avon is great for everyday use too!
