THE BEAUTY JUNKEE SPOTTED: TONY MOLY SM MEGAMALL LAUNCH

There's no stopping Tony Moly! One of the trendiest and most popular Korean cosmetic brands is making waves in the local beauty and skincare industry. Currently, the brand has 9 branches and outlets across Metro Manila. The six are already operating, the two are still in the works, and the last one was recently launched at the ground floor of SM Megamall B.

Luckily, I was invited to partake in this exclusive launch. Shen of Shen's Addiction also graced the event. And while Shen and I were chowing down some food, I saw and finally met Sol of Digital Traincase! It was so nice seeing my cyber buddies one by one in the flesh! :D

Tony Moly has an interesting etymology of its own. And this brand lives by its philosophy. The brand name is a combination of two words: 'Tony' meaning "stylish" in English, and 'Moly' meaning "to box something" in Japanese. Tony Moly collectively means "to box something stylish". This has become the driving principle of the brand in all their products. So whether you're looking for something effective to something cute, you'll find one in Tony Moly.

Some of you might be thinking that this is just a launch, so their shelves might be half- empty and will soon accumulate products over the next coming months. I was thinking of the same thing too. But to my surprise, the whole space is brimming with Tony Moly products! Every nook and cranny is occupied! So don't worry about wasting time travelling all the way to Megamall to check out their store. I swear, it's worth the trip!

Tony Moly was made famous by their all- natural, wholesome, and effective products in whimsical packagings. Here are some pics:

BODY CARE 2: Hand creams and hand and foot masks. The last shelf houses hair care stuff such as sprays, treatment mists, and hair color!

FACIAL CLEANSING STUFF: Facial gels and foams
FACIAL CARE: A wide selection of facial masks and pore strips to choose from.

PACKS AND WHATNOTS: Cleansing cloths, facial wipes, cotton squares, facial scrubs, and leave- on treatment packs. IMO, the facial packs have the cutest packaging ever! Check out their latte scrub and pack, tomatox treatment pack (which is their best- seller), ice cream sugar pack, and the egg- shaped facial soaps.

ACCESSORIES AND NAIL POLISHES: Their pastel and romantic nail polish collections are must- haves for any nail polish afficionado.

More make- up porn! :D

More lipglosses, lip tints, and treatments.Their princess lipglosses are charming and handy!!!

EYE STUFF: Mascaras, lash treatments, concealers, and eyeshadows.

FOUNDATION AND BASES: BB Creams, liquid foundation, blushers, bronzers, and shimmering blocks.

Their top- selling line is a precision line that targets skin marks and imperfections. The line contains snail extracts. Oh no, they didn't crush snails and mixed 'em up in the creams. They used the gooey substance found in snails that was discovered by some Korean scientists as an effective way to heal scars and marks.

Tony Moly is an affordable make- up brand. Price ranges from 30php- 3000k. So whether you're on a budget or up for a make- up splurge, consider Tony Moly. I personally like their skin care line because it is made up of organic and natural ingredients. I will try out their make- up soon, especially their lipsticks and BB creams. :)
