Hello lovelies! Welcome to a haul post. :D
I dropped by Sesou today and picked up the following:
A Strip it! Sugaring kit, All Organics Lemongrass breath freshener, and a Giga Pet Balm. If you've been visiting my FB fan page, I have publicly confessed how I loved my latest Brazilian session. So I'm now getting into the habit of waxing. :) Everyone's been raving about Nanny Rose's wax. So for more options for my readers, I'm trying out Strip it! and will let you know if it's a yay or a nay product. :)
It's so nice and refreshing to receive a birthday card. I had a catching up session today with my "kapatid", Krisan Jacomina of The Bright and Lovely Things. I didn't see her for a long time 'cos we were both busy with school and blogging. And it was so nice of her to remember my birthday even if a month has already passed. I am loving the earrings too!
I totally agree with what she wrote and said that everything practically runs on technology. Social networking sites would make you believe that they are making communicating and networking easier and better. But in reality, people become more alienated from each other. The world has lost the knack for a more personal type of communication. I guess people become lazier each day. I am fervently hoping that the world does not lose interest in pens, papers, and greeting cards.
Have a great Friday! The Beauty Junkee suggests that you check out Midnight Mercato at The Fort High Street tomorrow night! :)

wow, brazilian waxing - you are brave! am not ready for that i think hehe. i would like to try out small though, perhaps on my brow area. let us know if this product is any good!
ReplyDeletei agree with online communication - it appears like we have relationship but it's all shallow. what still matters is personal interaction. online, we can choose to "friend" someone we like and the minute they disappoint us we "unfriend" them. the best of friends are found in our hearts, building memories together. you're blessed to have one in your kapatid. ;)
MMM: Will do a review later. Got to sleep! Haha. :D Yes, finally I faced one of my fears. LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis has always been my sentiment regarding communication. Most of the time, I don't feel like going online, hence the lack of posts on some days. I grew up in the 90's where I didn't depend too much on technology to become happy and stay connected. I spend some of my days writing on the good ol' notebook rather than surfing the net.
Let me know what you think of this post! :)
