Here’s an initial review on Yves Rocher Lash Plump Mascara in Black

THE VERDICT:
Anything that promises lush, fat, volumized, and ginormous lashes, I will purchase. According to the nice SA at YR SM Southmall, Lash Plump is their most popular mascara because customers swear by its volumizing ability. So yeah, I was sold.
If you want to know if a mascara is meant to lengthen or volumize your lashes, check out the mascara wand. If the bristles are far from each other, it’s a lengthening mascara. But if the wand is packed with bristles, it’s a volumizing mascara.
The mascara has a nice semi- mousse consistency. It clings on my lashes easily, and it dries quickly. Allow at least 30 seconds prior to applying another layer of mascara for thicker looking lashes.

It doesn’t smudge and flake during wear. And it washes off easily with warm water too. It has a sharp smell (which is common to new mascaras), and the formula didn’t sting my eyes whatsoever. It amped up my lashes without the unnatural look. And it doesn’t weigh my eyes down too!
Overall, I love it. It’s a tad expensive than Maybelline, but at least it has botanical extracts that condition my lashes during wear. So that’s what the extra bucks are for.

tried the they're real mascara i love it but!!! im new in using mascara, the only problem i have with it is when I removed it w water it usually leaves dark color under my eye, maybe im removing the mascara the wrong way...any suggestions?

ReplyDeleteregarding your mascara concern: that's inevitable since the right way to remove mascara is wiping it off downwards. :) I suggest that once you have completely removed the gunk on your lashes, dip a cotton swab on a cleansing cream or oil and wipe the smudge on your lower lash line, and dab some cleansing cream or oil on your under eye and gently wipe it off with tissue or a cotton pad. hope this helps! :D
thanks for your advice! ill give it a try :) btw I tried my friends mascara the other day I just forgot the name but its from loreal, amazing when I removed it w water it wears off easily, parang rubberized texture... and no mess around my eyes. Now im trying to search for that mascara :)
