Every girl who's in college or who went through it have probably sported the "Haggard look." With tons of school requirements and extra curricular activities, a kolehiyala can't help but set aside makeup and self- enhancement in order to comply with the demands of the academic life.
I've been an avid fan of the "Haggard look" before, and good thing I've realized in my sophomore year that confidence plays a huge part in my academic life as well. So how and where do I get that confidence? Getting good grades is a given, but I've realized that appearance plays a major role in this semi- final stage of my academic life. It's also a good training ground in preparation for my professional career (whatever that may be).

Most kolehiyalas tend to shy away from makeup thinking that it will make them stand out in a wrong way, not to mention getting the pressure from prying eyes of their female classmates. Take it from me: In the end, the one who will prevail is the one who has confidence. Time and again, I would say in my blog that "If you look and feel great, you feel confident." And I will never get tired of saying it because it is so dayum true! Never mind the haters, and just look and feel beautiful. And what great way to start appreciating yourself and becoming more confident but through makeup, right?
Apparently, this has been the backbone of Colour Collection's latest campaign. Colour Collection, the premiere makeup line of Tupperware brands has launched the COLOUR COLLECTION UNIVERSITY TOUR. CC's mobile beauty bus will go to three universities namely UP Diliman (represent!), St. Paul Manila, and University of Sto. Tomas.
Colour Collection has recently kicked- off their beauty tour at UP Diliman with Colour Collection's chief makeup artist, Bianca Valerio. 1500 girl iskolars hopped on the bus and went out looking and feeling more beautiful than ever. They also got to purchase the makeups used on them! And if you purchase a Colour Collection lipstick, you get a limited edition 15ml Colour Collection Gluta Whitening BB Cream! Sweet!
CC called its favorite beauty bloggers and press people to a simple lunch at Chateau 1771 to help them spread the word about this exciting campaign.
Kriska of Tupperware Brands, Julia, and Joanne. :)
Shen of Shen's Addiction, and Liz of Project Vanity (who's going to be part of Colour Collection's UST campus tour! :))
When I become a billionaire, I will buy a bus, and model it after this one. Any girl would really love to have this mobile makeup haven! :)
Bianca Valerio sharing some of her beauty secrets. Sharing of beauty tips and tricks were inevitable because the place was so conducive for the topic!
Bianca and the Tupperware team
Me and Julia Arenas of Bless My Bag.
Bianca Valerio and CC's favorite beauty bloggers.
I went home with the following Colour Collection goodies: Eyeshadow trio, LE 15ml Gluta Whitening BB Cream, Triple treat lip, cheek, and eye color, Moisture Intense lipstick in Paradise Pink, and Moisture Intense lipstick in Salmon.
But don't fret when I've said that they're the 'Premiere Line' of Tupperware brands because CC makeups are absolutely affordable. And the quality? Impressive. If you're an avid fan of my blog, you probably know that I am a makeup snob. But Colour Collection has made it to my list! Their lipsticks and mascara are awesome!
Colour Collection's 2nd leg will be at St. Paul Manila on Feb. 15-17, at the Parking lot near HRM Training Center, with Ning Hilario of Meg Magazine! So Paulinians, make sure you catch this one-of-a-kind beauty experience! I'm sure you'll all be heading back to your classes with much gaiety as you sport a whole new look courtesy of Colour Collection. Liz Lanuzo of Project Vanity will be with the CC bus in their 3rd and final leg at UST. Visit COLOUR COLLECTION TOUR'S OFFICIAL WEBSITE for tour pics and schedules.

ReplyDeleteRight Ms. Martha! Gone were the days where we're used to simplicity. I have to admit, the world has changed a lot and we have to evolve to from being the typical, conservative women whose comfortable with just loose powders and lip balms to a modern chic whose now used to total make-overs. ;)
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think of this post! :)
