My recommended lip products for summer

Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Pink Pop

Summertime is the time wherein I write about my summer product recommendations and tips. (Duh) I've been going through my makeup kits last night, looking for lip products that I'd bring to my Boracay trip next week. I just thought, why not recommend some lip products that you guys can bring to your own vacays? So here's a curated list of my affordable lip product recommendations for summer.

I've got you covered from tints to lipsticks, so read on! :)

If you want some color on your lips without the weight and feel.....

Try Benefit Cosmetics Cha Cha Tint. (P1,800.00) Who says you need lipsticks and lip balms for succulent- looking lips? :)

For daytime wear, it's best to wear lip glosses because it keeps your overall look light and fresh. Lip glosses are great as well because they help retain moisture on your lips, and they don't appear as bold and striking unlike lipsticks.

Try Revlon's Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Pink Pop (P450.00) I just found out that Blair Waldorf's wearing this exact product in one of the wedding episodes of Gossip Girl!

If you can find lip glosses with SPF, please go for them because your lips have thin skin and they need protection the most. Clinique's Long Last Glosswear in Cabana Crush (around P600.00+) is a lovely golden pink-peach shade that gives you sun protection and a juicy touch of color that lasts all day!

When the skies get darker and parties are just starting, add more color to your lips with these summer- worthy recommendations:

Colour Collection Moisture Intense Lipstick in Paradise Pink (Around P300.00+) is such a lovely hot pink shade. It dries to a satiny finish without compromising color. It also keeps your lips from over drying due to the hot and humid weather.

For more color impact, try Colour Collection's Color Intense Lipsticks. (Around P300.00+) It adds more life to your lips with its generous dose of color. It dries off to a semi-matte, non-drying finish too.

Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick (Around P1,400.00+) marries lipgloss, lip balm, and lipstick in this chic and sleek product. It has Cupuacu butter for 'round the clock moisturization, and it is saturated with pigments for color impact that's beyond words.

Lipbalm head like me? Check out some of my favorite lip balm brands:

Nivea's Fruity Shine Lipbalm (Around P80.00+) gives your lips moderate shine and color. Layer it on with Nivea's Sun Protect lip balm for reliable sun protection!

Covergirl's Natureluxe Lipbalms (Around P200.00-300.00+) is an all-natural lip balm with spf, moisturizers, and color. It protects and repairs skin at the same time!

Of course, I will never forget to recommend Revlon's Lip Butters (Around P500.00+). These butter sticks are extremely perfect for people with lips that are prone to extreme dryness. It's like water supply for your lips!

Carmex (P99.75) is a good reliever for people who have sensitive lips. It's fragrance- free and dye- free, so it's all good.

And finally, Kiehl's Lip Balm with SPF 15. (Around P600.00+) It penetrates deep into your lips for all day inside-out moisturization. It yields a blushing red tint too for all day prettiness and juiciness.
