Water is essential to humanity. Unfortunately, not all people have the privilege to tap into institutions that offer clean and safe drinking water, let alone have the resources to produce it. Every year, 4,000 children die from water- borne diseases, and 900 million people are still deprived of access to clean drinking water.

Giorgio Armani, in partnership with Green Cross has launched ACQUA FOR LIFE, a campaign that aims to provide safe drinking water to underserved communities all over the world.

Last year was a huge success for the Acqua For Life campaign. Armani and Green Cross were able to donate 43.3 million liters of water to 27,000 families in Ghana. That means over a hundred thousand people were saved from death caused by water- borne diseases.

For every bottle of Acqua Di Gio and Acqua di Gioia perfumes sold, Giorgio Armani donates 100 liters of water to various poor communities all over the world.
