THE VERDICT:

Here's a cutey patootie product from The Body Shop's latest collection by Lily Cole: The Lip and Cheek Dome.

It's quite small, lightweight, and very handy. The products from the said collection is 100% cruelty- free, and the packaging are made from recycled materials. It also reminds me of Shu Uemura's Creamy Dome blush. Fundamentally, both products do the same thing. I wish I have Shu's so I could make a comparison right about now. But soon enough, I will get one and let you know what's the difference between the two. In the meantime, let's check this out. So click READ MORE and read my detailed review.

Lily Cole's Lip and Cheek Dome comes in two shades: Pinch Me Pink and Crazy Coral. I've read in TBS's official site that this particular product does not contain "BUG SHELLES". What the heck is that?! Does that mean my non-Lily Cole lip and cheek products have ingredients from bugs in them!? Creepy. O.O But at least this one doesn't have any! Whew!

But I digress. It has a cream to powder finish that feels luxurious when applied, and blends easily onto your skin. However, since it contains no preservatives and binders, I find that the setting time takes awhile and it doesn't last long.

Here's the swatch of Pinch Me Pink. It's a very natural candy pink shade that gives your lips and cheeks a healthy flush.

I've found ways for it to stay longer. Choose anything that you prefer from these techniques:

1. It can be used as a base for pink blushes. Use this underneath your regular pink blush for better color payoff.

2. Use a translucent powder to set it. It literally disappears if you apply tinted setting creamy and overly- tinted setting powders on it because it only yields medium coverage.

Overall, it's pretty nice. If you're a fan of earth- friendly cosmetics and natural- looking makeup, then you will love Lily Cole's new makeup collection. It's also great for people with dry skin because it has a moisturizing consistency, and a great makeup buddy that you can wear to outdoor activites such as nature tripping, hiking, or to the beach because its formula is gentle, non- clogging, and free from chemicals that may react to the sun and damage your skin.
