FOTD: Festive+Get The Look

Just sharing the look I wore today for our family Christmas lunch. I used a lovely lime green eyeshadow to welcome the incoming new year! :D

I also threw in a tutorial so you will all know how to don this eye makeup look.

These are the stuff I've used. It isn't necessary that you use the exact products in this tutorial.

Virginia Olsen Mineral Eyeshadow in Chartreuse
Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV Eyeshadows:
Psychedelic Sister (Above Crease color)
Rockstar (Outer Crease color)
Snatch (Brow bone highlighter)
Dolly Wink Volumizing Mascara
K-Palette Real Lasting Liner in Super Black

Click READ MORE and see the tutorial now!

Step 1: Using an eye shader brush and Virginia Olsen Chartreuse, apply a sheer wash from your lid up until the above crease area. Blend throughly.

Step 2: Using an angled eye shader and Urban Decay in Psychedelic Sister, shade your above crease. Blend evenly.

Step 3: Using a blender brush and Urban Decay's Rockstar, dot eyeshadow on your outer crease and slowly blend towards the above crease. Try your best to create a fading effect. Blend evenly.

Step 4: Using Urban Decay's Snatch and an eye shader brush, highlight your brow bone.

The Final Look

Don't forget to apply eyeliner and mascara!

The purple and dark violet shades have emphasized the pretty lime green eyeshadow even more.

You can skip the outer crease color should you find it a little dark for daytime wear. :)

Oh, before I forget:

That's it! Hope you all like the look! :D
