THE VERDICT:
I'm a sucker for feel- good stuff such as a Facial Mist. I don't know, but the droplets of moist that touch my skin always makes me smile and say "aaahh" that's why I invariably have one in my bag, especially when the weather is hot. Aside from that, I also use it as a makeup sealant and a freshening product right after working out.
I just used up my Mario Badescu Rosewater Facial Mist and right now, I am enjoying L'Occitane's Angelica Face Mist. It's made with the goodness of the Angelica plant, a plant native to France and is highly valued for its intense hydrating properties. The Angelica Face Mist is part of L'Occitane's Angelica Skin Care Line which is intended for dry skin.
L'OCCITANE ANGELICA HYDRATION FACE MIST IN DETAIL
It comes in a huge aerosol can and it's nice to know that I'm getting a lot for 995php. It's also quite full, so that's good news as well.
Ingredients: Aqua/Water, Glycerin, Angelica Archangelica Root Extract, Angelica Archangelica Root Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Amyris Balsamifera Bark Oil, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Parfum/Fragrance, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Nitrogen, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Limonene.
I also like its atomizer because it dispenses a very fine mist: It imparts just the right amount of liquid, and helps prevent the mist from drenching my makeup, which is sometimes the case with Mario Badescu's atomizer.
L'OCCITANE ANGELICA HYDRATION MIST IN ACTION
Here's a spritz of Mario Badescu and L'Occitane's facial mists. As you can see, L'Occitane imparts a sheer veil of moisture, which makes its drying time a lil' faster than Mario Badescu.
This mist has a lovely green scent with a hint of pepper, and it never fails to revitalize and energize me every time I use it. I am totally in love with its scent, and I cannot overemphasize!
If you've read the ingredients list, you know by now that it contains a few essential oil extracts, which may concern people with oily skin. I have oily skin and in my experience, it does not make skin oily, although it does not have the ability to control it. The mist is very fine, and the oils are nearly imperceptible as it's primarily water, unless you soak your skin with it. If used as a makeup sealant, this thing can hold makeup well too.
This product is very good for dry skin, and just about anyone who's looking for a quick hydration fix especially in air- conditioned places, and those who are looking for a pick-me-upper that's packed with skin soothing ingredients at anytime of the day. It's a little pricey, I know, but I'm glad to know that it's not just plain water in a can because it has beneficial ingredients in it!
