The blossoming of the Sakura signals yet another much- anticipated special collection for Shu Uemura. This time, the brand has partnered with OB, a rising Japanese contemporary artist who was discovered by Takashi Murakami, a highly recognized Japanese artist. (Louis Vuitton Murakami collection, rings a bell?)
The new collection zooms in on Shu Uemura's iconic cleansing oils, supported by a few limited edition makeup items. If you're an avid reader of my blog, you know by now that the Hanami (Sakura Flower Viewing) festival is very important to Shu Uemura, thus he dresses up his best- selling cleansing oil line as a tribute to this thousand year- old tradition.

Shu Uemura also celebrates Women's Month this March, and they have chosen four prominent women in the industry who represent the Princesses of OB.
Another wonderful collection, Shu Uemura! I'm with Jheng of I Am Brigitte, Angela Nepomuceno of Lush Angel, Karen Crisostomo of Shu Uemura, and Tricia Gosingtian of Tricia Will Go Places.
Of all the special cleansing oil collections of Shu Uemura, this is perhaps the closest to my heart because its message resonates with my sentiments about the environment. I also salute Shu Uemura for creating a collection that does not only talk about mere individual, physical beauty, but also the beauty of being one with everyone and of course, nature. By the way, what OB Princess are you? I'm definitely an Ocean Princess because I love the beach so much! Even though the Fresh Pore Clarifying Cleansing Oil variant is my HG, I went for this instead because I can identify myself with her principles and personality. Besides, at least I can review another Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil variant for you guys! :)

I think I relate to Sakura Humi the most. She reminds me of Monono Aware which is the Japanese concept that something fleeting/impermanent is beautiful (ex, sakura). :)
Haven't try any of the Shu Uemera products but I would love to have this the special cleansing oil collection..at ang cute ng OB muses video!.. :)

Kawaii!!! They are all visually "appetizing" and what's even more wonderful is the focus on the care for the environment. I admire the Japanese culture and based on what I know, I think it's safe to say that Japanese-made products, in general, are reliable.

The OB video is soo cute :D I haven't tried any Shu products but I'm sure you would love this new cleansing oil Ms M since you've been using one as dubbed as your favorite makeup remover. The ambiance of the event seems so cool, maybe because of the floral all over the place! Love your floral pants, as always and their dresses too are cute! If given a chance, I would really love to try their cleansing oils! ♥
