Consistency is very creamy and blendable, and texture is a lil' slippery, thus it is not the best option for oily skin. Coverage is light yet buildable--actually, methinks its maximum coverage is medium only, and it has a tendency to feel thick if it's layered on. It is fragrance- free as well. Staying power is okay: It fades after a good 3 hours of wear.

The three colors when blended together- It imparts a soft pinky coral color.

BENEFIT FINE ONE ONE IN ACTION

On my cheeks, Fine One One yields a very light pinky glow-Take note that I've layered the product here thrice. It takes a lil' effort to use because I find that it has a tendency to disappear underneath powders, most especially tinted ones, and it also has a habit of removing makeup products underneath it. So girls with post- acne marks and acne on the cheeks, this is not your best bet. :p

I've found two ways to work Fine One One effectively and without compromising the other makeups on your skin:

WORK IT WITH LIQUID BASES: After applying liquid makeup, swipe Fine One One on your fingers, dab it onto your cheeks lightly, and then seal with translucent powder using a light, dabbing motion. I prefer using translucent powder on it because it prevents the product from vanishing underneath.

WORK IT WITH POWDER BASES: After moisturizing your skin, swipe Fine One One on your fingers, and dab it onto your cheeks lightly. Apply powder base all over your face as usual, but use a fluffier powder brush when it's time to seal the product. Using a fluffy powder brush and your preferred powder base, gently dab on your cheeks to set the product.

Meanwhile, here's the product on my lips:

Soft Coral

Soft Coral+Watermelon Pink

On my lips, it looks very, very light-it acts like a soft, nude pink lipstick. However, it has a tendency to settle into and emphasize fine lines. I like combining Soft Coral and Watermelon Pink on my lips because I get better color payoff than using them individually.

Here are ways two ways to utilize Fine One One:

AS A CONTOURING PRODUCT

STEP 1: Lay Fine One One flat on the lowest point of your cheeks (This area is adjacent to the outermost tip of your eyes) and swipe upwards all the way to your temples.

STEP 2: Blend Soft Coral and Watermelon Pink together seamlessly to get rid of obvious demarcations.

STEP 3: Using a clean finger, blur out the highlighter in a gentle, circular motion.

This is what it will look like.

If used as a contouring product, it doesn't really provide you with sharp, structured contours, but rather a soft, shadowy effect on your features. I think it's best for those who like non- obvious contours, and people with oblong- shaped faces who want a little more emphasis on their facial structure.

AS A REGULAR BLUSH

STEP 1: Apply Fine One One on your apples in a gentle, circular motion.

STEP 2: Using two of your deftest fingers, blend the colors together using a dabbing motion, and dab all the way to the temples for a natural effect.

STEP 3: Using a clean finger, swipe it on the highlighter, and dab it on the tips of your apples for a highlighting effect.

Fine One One acts as a dewy, cream blush! I use it on normal days, like when I'm just going to bring my dog to the grooming salon, picking up a few groceries, depositing money in the bank, or grabbing coffee at my neighborhood Starbucks. I like the fact that it's a handy all-in-one product, and it enables me to retouch my highlighter, blush, and contour in one go.

It's a cool product, but I think it can still be improved by a huge lot, most especially its texture and pigmentation. As it is, I find it too sheer and moist for my liking. I've seen a swatch of this product on beauty bloggers with fairer skin tones and I must say, it looks better on them than on someone who has warm, tanned complexion like me. Its creamy, moisturizing consistency will work better on people with dry and normal skin, and its overall sheerness makes it a great choice for teenage girls. Also, if you're looking for a compact, discreet cream blush to use on a daily basis, you might wanna try this.

  2. Thanks for sharing Ms. M. I don't think I'll be getting one of these anytime soon. I'm a powder girl so I prefer powder blush and highlighter.

  3. Thanks for sharing! This is what I loved from Bloggers like you! Honest opinions/reviews is what the readers really needs! Di ko alam na may ganitong product. But you said, its a sheer blusher, which is I don't like XD. And I have a normal skin, so definitely this product won't work with me. I'm much better with powder. More power to your blog. :)

  4. Thanks for your honest opinion about Fine One One, Ms. M. I love dewy-finish blush, since it gives me a youthful glow. It would definitely love this product because I often soft-contour my face daily due to my rounded face. I was expecting too much from this product, honestly. Too bad its pigmentation and quality is not as great as I thought.

I have a hard time applying cream blushes too. Its either too pigmented or leaves a streak on my face... :( But with your tips here, I think I'll get it with practice :)
