March Favorites

Hola! I just wanna say that I'm seriously dying to get a pedicure. I'm getting one today after my Barre3 class! But before I sign off, I'm leaving you with my favorite beauty products for the month of March! :)

1. LAURA MERCIER SECOND SKIN CHEEK COLOUR IN SPICED CIDER

- This is the most natural orange blush I've ever seen-It just gives my cheeks a lovely summery glow. It also has a fab texture, one that absorbs oil and keeps cheeks matte for a long time, and comes in a very handy packaging!

2. BOBBI BROWN EXTRA HAND CREAM

- Been using this a lot because I like its matte finish and texture.

3. MUSTELA AGUA DE COLONIA

- Call me lavish and excessive, but I use this almost always just like water. I spray it all over my body during afternoons to beat the heat because it's refreshing, doesn't sting unlike regular baby colognes, and the fresh scent is very energizing-just the thing I need to keep me from feeling drained and lazy in this intense heat!

4. MAC FLUIDLINE BROW GEL IN DIRTY BLONDE

- A contender of my HG, Benefit Brow Zings. This baby is a brow mapper and filler in one!

5. BIFESTA CLEANSING WATER MAKEUP REMOVER

- I've been wearing powder foundation all- March long due to my Barre3 class, hence I didn't need tough makeup removers to dissolve my makeup at day's end. This baby did the trick for me!

6. PROSTYLE FUWARIE STRAIGHT STYLING MIST

- I don't know why, but I've gotten fond of blow-drying last month, and I've used this thing as a regular heat protectant for my fine hair. It works great, and it has helped keep my hair from being dry due to frequent blow-drying.

7. KIEHL'S BLUE HERBAL SPOT TREATMENT

- Benzyl Peroxide- Free, high in Salicylic Acid, does not sting so bad, and effective. 'nuff said!

8. L'OREAL LUCENT MAGIQUE LIGHT INFUSING LIQUID FOUNDATION

- It's my first time to use a L'oreal complexion product, and I'm pretty impressed! It's very light and sheer, yet it somehow improves the texture of the skin. For a very affordable foundation, it acts like an expensive one!

9. FAIRY DROPS VOLUME BURST MASCARA

- I love volumizing mascaras, but their consistency could be a bit too much especially during summer. What I like about this mascara is it injects volume into my lashes, but the overall finish is just light and feathery, and it doesn't weigh my lashes down. I even use this during Barre3 classes!

10. SHU UEMURA POREraser UV UNDERBASE MOUSSE

- For me, Shu Uemura's UV Underbase is one of the best primers around. This new POREraser UV underbase mousse now tops my list my makeup primer list because of its matte finish: It is very friendly to my oily skin, and it keeps makeup intact the whole day! And the cute packaging is such a nice thing to have too!

11. VASELINE HEALTHY WHITE 15ML LOTION

- Vaseline is one of my and our household's staple lotion brands. I particularly like this size because it's sooo travel- friendly-it's perhaps the most tote-able lotion packaging I've ever seen.

12. DKNY PUREDKNY A DROP OF ROSE EDP

- Rose has always had this elegant smell, but this perfume breaks it. It's a fresh, clean, happy smelling Rose perfume--it's the kind of Rose that you can wear all- summer long.

That's it! Hope you're all having a great day! :)

  2. can i just say na mukhang vaseline lang ang kakayanin kong iachieve sa mga items na yan? i dont use heat on my hair so keri nang walang heat protectant!

im not sure what the hype is about sa fairy drops mascara. i tried it on s beauty bar at hindi ko sya talaga maiapply ng tama. nagcclump ang lashes ko. i dont think (saken lang ha) that the weird applicator is working for me, ang weird kasi ng bilog bilog sa applicator. i really want that to work for me kasi i know theres a smudge proof pero washable na version . kaya ang hirap iwanan ang HG mascara ko un ETUDE HOUSE proof 10

    any tips guys?

  7. Thanks for sharing Ms M! I cant wait to get my own Fuwarie Heat protectant! I'm going to purchase a blow dryer very soon so I'll be needing that. And when I decide to grow my hair, I'll also need thermal protection when I use my hair straightener or curling iron.

  12. I have bifesta and it's awesome. Already on my 2nd bottle. Anyway, if you run out, some shopwise branches have it on sale for 350+, maybe it's not so sellable at some of their stores (they're on yellow tag).

On Lucent Magique (LM), I regret that I bought True Match weeks before LM was released... I have a better match with

  13. I wanna try L'OREAL LUCENT MAGIQUE LIGHT INFUSING LIQUID FOUNDATION and PROSTYLE FUWARIE STYLING MIST. I'm not really into wearing liquid foundation that's why I have only one. It's MAybelline mineral liquid foundation and it's not that nice as I tend to look oily in a few hours that's why I'm looking for another liquid foundation. I also like styling my hair, especially curling it so I might buy this styling mist.

  14. I saw the Bifesta Cleansing Water in Robinson's Dept Store. It's around P450+ (I think) and I'm definitely getting it on the next payday. :) I'm also dying to try out the L'oreal Lucent foundation.

I also have a Vaseline lotion in my bag all the time. Even though I'm really morena, I don't want to get an uneven skintone.

I also want to check out that DKNY Drop of Rose EDP. I saw it in Duty Free yesterday but I didn't get the chance to get a whiff of it because there were so many people! I've been looking for a Rose perfume for quite some time and the ones that I've checked smell too heavy in a room-spray kind of way. Boo :(

  16. Anonymous: I use Charm's angled brow brush. :)

Anonymous: Prostyle Fuwarie, you can get from Beauty Bar :)

BrownOso: Thanks for sharing! PureDKNY rose, I assure you, does not smell like a rose- scented linen or room spray haha! It's very fresh and young, definitely smells like perfume. :)

Dana: Thanks for sharing your picks! You'll love Prostyle Fuwarie since you mentioned you love curling your locks! :)

Rae: I could see why. It's very gentle and it works, although it can't really remove waterproof mascara properly-still have to use shu uemura's cleansing oil to take away residues. Hmmm...Maybe Bifesta is not really a good place to put Bifesta in. :D

Leilani: Try it dear! You'll love it! :D

Desire: If you believe you can, you will. That's all I can say. :) You're welcome! :D

Kath: I'm sure your kid will love it too! :D

    Ohms: Great picks! :D

    Jill: Awww...Thank you! :D

Trisha: Hi there! Haha! Thanks! :D

Kate: Hi there! I think the lucent magique foundation would be a good match for your shiseido brush. :) (lol enabler) Kiehl's gives out samples for free so you can always drop by and ask for one. :)

Eloise: I have reviewed this particular fairy drops mascara and I have provided application tips as well. :)

    Jec: You're welcome! :D
