THE VERDICT:

I tried looking for descriptions online about this product, but found none. I guess it's either 1.) A new product 2.) An old, discontinued product 3.) An Asia- exclusive product. Methinks it's the latter because a majority of Asian women prefer a foundation with better coverage to conceal uneven skin tone, the number one skin concern of Asians. Well that's just me hypothesizing lol! :D

Based on the limited description, it seems like a foundation with medium to full coverage, with extra concealing powers to effectively minimize the appearance of dark spots on the facial area.

With the presence of Titanium Dioxide in the ingredients list, it's possible that it contains SPF as well.

Comes with a convenient pump dispenser, and the bottle is made from glass-it's sturdy enough to withstand light falls.

Texture is light, and consistency is somewhere in between creamy and watery. Coverage is light to medium. It has this light, caramel- like scent. Warm Beige is a dark tan shade with a strong yellow undertone-Nice to know that BYS has a shade for dark- skinned ladies. Btw, BYS' foundation range is primarily yellow- toned. 

As you can see, Warm Beige looks a lil' dark on me, but it's okay because this shade unifies my face's tone with the rest of my body. That, and it makes me look more tan as well. :)

Bare Face

Two layers of BYS Complete Coverage Liquid Foundation

Since its consistency is quite thin, it spreads out evenly without caking and all that heaviness. However, it takes a while to settle onto the skin so apply no more than two layers to give it ample time to adhere properly. It gives skin a nice, dewy finish, although it can only effectively cover light marks.

WORK IT: This product can be applied using a foundation brush or your fingers. For foundation brushes, I would suggest the traditional foundation brush for you to maximize its coverage.

Its formula is good for normal and dry skin because of its emollient, watery texture. It's lightweight enough to be used by those with light to moderate oily skin, but it does not have any oil- controlling powers-I get oily on my T-Zone after 3 hours of wear. It also fades considerably at day's end so I always bring a tinted face powder with me when I'm wearing it to replenish its coverage. Between dry and oily skin, I think this product will suit dry- skinned peeps best.

I hope that the next batches have improved staying power already, but overall, it's a good and affordable everyday foundation line that offers a decent shade range.
