THE VERDICT:
In Japanese cosmetics, they rarely have satin lipsticks-that's a fact. Because the Japs like their lips glossy, dewy, and shiny, but brands some have already included a few mattes for a lil' variety. Shiseido breaks away from this standard through Perfect Rouge, a line of-you bet-moisturizing, satin lipsticks. It comes in wide array of colors ranging from nudes to deep reds.

Perfect Rouge is one of the newest lipstick lines of Shiseido: It promises all- day hydration with Super Hydro-Wrap Vitalizing DE (Shiseido- exclusive formula), true, intense color with Dual Fine Optimizing Powders, and an ultra blendable, smooth, and lustrous finish with Satin Smooth Pearl. It was developed by Dick Page, Artistic Director for the brand.
It comes in an Onyx- colored metallic tube: 'Tis a lil' chunky, but feels luxe overall.

Consistency is very smooth and creamy, pigmentation is superb, and coverage is full. The formula, despite its creaminess, clings very well upon application and does not bleed around the lips-you can wear it even without a lip liner.
SHISEIDO PERFECT ROUGE LIPSTICK IN RS 320 IN ACTION
RS 320 is cool/warm fuchsia shade with a hint of neon. It brightens up fair skin tones, but looks very stunning on morena ones. It has a patent- like finish to it, my kind of shine in lipsticks because it doesn't feel heavy and too wet. It is non- drying, staying power is very good: it doesn't transfer easily and leaves a non- streaky stain on the lips when it's completely rubbed off.
The thing that made RS 320 unique is its violet-lilac combination in the undertones. MAC Petals and Peacocks, the closest color I can compare it with it, is a little lighter.
It's a nice candy fuchsia for those who find traditional and darker fuchsias a little too strong, and it's perhaps the only neon lipstick that flatters warm skin tones in my opinion.
