THE VERDICT:

If you're dropping by Lavish House of Beauty's store either intentionally or unintentionally, please do pick up their Herbal Makeup Remover. It's mighty cheap, but removes makeup really well! It's my most favorite item of theirs! In terms of makeup removal, I can even compare this with Face Of Australia's Gentle Makeup Remover!

LAVISH HOUSE OF BEAUTY HERBAL MAKEUP REMOVER (OLIVE) IN DETAIL

This makeup remover has a plant- based formula, has Olive extracts to moisturize skin, Rosemary to soothe skin, and Grape pips (Or Grapeseed) oil. It's non-alcohol, and claims to remove stubborn makeup and excess sebum. It only comes in one size, 100ml.

Bottle is quite sturdy, and comes with a small pop- up cap apart from the main cap to really inhibit spillage.

LAVISH HOUSE OF BEAUTY HERBAL MAKEUP REMOVER (OLIVE) IN ACTION

It has a watery oil kind of consistency and a mild floral scent. You can use it on the face or eyes. However, for eye use, use with caution as it can sting for a teeny bit if a lot enters the eyes-this is what separates Face Of Australia's makeup remover from this one. I don't really know what's causing the stinging sensation as the words on the box are incomprehensible. Buuuut I like using it on my eyes anyway because it removes waterproof mascara and eyeliner even in just a few, gentle swipes. No tugging and harsh rubbing needed! :D For facial use, it also melts waterproof and long-wearing face bases and leaves my skin soft and moisturized without the oily feel-been using it for 2 months and no breakouts.

It comes in two other variants: Rose and Aloe Vera

Yes, I'll buy it again-it's dirt cheap but effective! :D

  6. Yay for plant-based. Olive is great for the skin. (olive oils, the fruit) And this is a great product. This is a must have because we should always remove makeup at night. :)

Louise: That's true, especially for the eyes. :)

CJ: For eye makeup removal, this one is better than bifesta cleansing water :) Whichever is readily available to you. But if you want to try this, you can inquire via Lavish house of Beauty on facebook-they might do shipping. :)
