Review: Glam Works Chin and Forehead Strips

Here's a review on Glam Works Chin and Forehead Strips

Price: Around P90.00
Bought From: Watsons, SM Aura Premier, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City
Other Locations: Available in all Watsons stores

THE VERDICT:

Can I like hug and kiss the person who proposed the creation of this product? He/she has to know he/she has saved so many people from chin breakouts!

Of all the parts of my face, the hardest to clean ever is my chin area. It's still very rough no matter how I scrub and cleanse my face due to tons of whiteheads and blackheads, and the only way to clear it out is by means of extraction. (Professional extraction, preferably) I don't go to the derma regularly so I suffer most of the time from rough skin around the chin and sadly, cystic breakouts. I tried cutting Nose strips into pieces for them to fit my chin, but they always end up misshapen and useless, and it's quite a tedious task! That is why I am SOOOOO happy when I saw this pack in Watsons, and got even happier when I found out that it works! :)

GLAM WORKS CHIN AND FOREHEAD STRIPS IN DETAIL

Ingredients

One box contains ten individually packaged strips.

The strip was shaped to fit either your forehead or chin. It's a little wasteful if used on the forehead only because I think you can't really maximize the strip on this part-besides, do you really get as much whiteheads and blackheads on your forehead like your chin? (No at least to me) BUUUT...that's just me. :D

GLAM WORKS CHIN AND FOREHEAD STRIPS IN DETAIL

I get a lot of whiteheads and roughness on the fold right underneath my lower lip-I use the strip there. However, the strip has a tendency to crinkle when you put it on this part so here's how you can use it here effectively:

1. Fold your lower lip inwards to create a flatter surface on your lower chin.
2. Wet this part with water.
3. Apply the strip. Smooth the surface to get rid of bubbles and crinkles.
4. Press the strip onto this area until it starts to feel a little dry and hard. This takes about 2-3 minutes.
5. Now you can relax your lower lip. Wait for 10-15 minutes before removal.

Whiteheads, removed! It doesn't look like it took out a lot of whiteheads here, but it did-my whiteheads on the chin are really small. It's a little painful though when you're finally peeling it off. When the strip is out, I immediately wet my chin with cold water to soothe my skin.

When I started using this thing, my chin has gotten smoother and breakouts were reduced because it declogs my skin effectively. I shall repurchase! :)

  3. Same problem (if not worse) regarding the chin area! There was a point that I swear there was no more space anymore for more breakouts in my chin, gross!! It has gotten better now, but it still remains to be one of the most sensitive areas of my face. Would definitely try this one soon. I think I always see this on buy 1 take 1 for Php150 at Watson's..

  10. Rmi Arambulo- while I love watsons nose strips! :D

    Louise Ito: Welcome! :D

Rizza: Yes, even with nose pore strips. I think that's a common reaction-the itching thing always feels like my pores are closing so yeah, i guess it's normal. :)

Cristine Jusa: Cute! How I wish I could get my dad to do that-or my mom at least! :D

Mikeemotions: Thank you! :D Welcome to my blog! Yup, will try to look for more great but affordable finds! :D

Anonymous: Thanks for the tip. :)

Mayla: Oh don't put this on a fresh pimple- it might wound your skin! It's safer to use on blemish- free skin-only those with whiteheads and blackheads. :)

    Maicafrances- You're welcome. :)

Angel: Awesome sale! Wish it goes on buy-1-take-1 in Manila too! :D

  14. I'm eyeing on Megan's Deep Cleansing Pore Strips but I find it's price a little bit higher. I also have problems with my whiteheads and blackheads. I've tried iWhite and that didn't do a good job. I might consider trying this one first because its also effective and it's much affordable.
