THE VERDICT:
Every year, particularly in Springtime, Clinique releases a new version of their iconic Happy fragrance and uniformly calls 'em Happy In Bloom. The theme for 2013 is all about lightness, joy, and gentleness, good feelings that are materialized in this smile- inducing decorated flacon and of course, the fragrance.
Here are the past renditions of Clinique Happy In Bloom. Each fragrance tells their own tale of the sweetness of springtime.

CLINIQUE HAPPY IN BLOOM 2013 EDT IN DETAIL
Top notes are laced with Apricot and frozen fruit. Regarding the frozen fruit, Clinique didn't exactly say what it is, but I think it's chilled strawberries. (Juicy!) The heart is made up of freesia and mimosa, and the base notes are comprised of a hint of incense and woody notes, although I can barely smell 'em in the fragrance-the woody note, however, kicks in after an hour or so leaving my skin with a slightly earthy aroma. The fragrance goes from super light and fresh to semi-deep, like a hot yet vibrant summer day that settles down to a warm, mellow night. But overall, I can categorize this fruity floral fragrance as predominantly fresh and cool. Staying power is okay: It lasts for 2 hours on me, but I wish it lasts longer!
A spritz of this fragrance is like having a tall glass of ice- cold lemonade or (insert your preferred summer quencher here) while you're sitting by the garden or porch, calmly spending time admiring the beauty of nature, worrying about nothing at all. Also, there's something energizing yet calming about this fragrance-maybe it's because it resembles nature, that place where you can have fun sans any inhibition and relax for as long as you want at the same time. :)
