THE VERDICT:

Are you familiar with this song?

You're my cuppycake snugglebunch pumpiyumpiyumpkin, you're my sweety pie. You're my cuppycake gumdrop hiccup sniccup snore, the apple of my eye. :D

It's my feel- good song because it's soooo cute, just like this palette o' blush from Sleek called Blush By 3. I like it because it's a set of bright- colored blushes that look good on morena skin, not to mention I get a surge of happiness whenever I open this product. :D

SLEEK BLUSH BY 3 IN PUMPKIN IN DETAIL

Blush By 3 is a set of super duper pigmented blushes (the thing Sleek is known for) in three varying finishes and universally- flattering shades. There are also different color combinations for this product, but Pumpkin is by far, the brightest of them all.

L-R: Lantern, Squash, P Pie

Compact is sleek and feels really solid, and comes with a pretty huge embedded mirror.

Top (L-R): Lantern and Squash
Bottom: P Pie

These blushes are PIGMENTED-no question about that. It has a very faint floral scent, and I like that the pans are really huge. Neon blushes are great because they give your overall look a fresh and trendy vibe, but certain shades may look chalky and fake on morena and tan skin tones. These blushes are a different kind of neon because despite the brightness and flashiness, they still have a hint of warmth to them, thus they compliment warm skin tones nicely.

In this pan, you get two matte blushes and one shimmer blush. The matte blushes, I've reviewed them way, way back so please click HERE for that. The shimmer blush is pretty much the same as the matte one, but has flecks of shimmer. For the latter blush finish, I just wish it had a different quality or payoff for variety because really, it's matte to me.

SLEEK BLUSH BY 3 IN PUMPKIN IN ACTION

Squash is a bright pink shade with a bluish undertone. I like that it kinda' mimics my natural flush.

P Pie is a soda orange shade. (Did that make sense?) I found that this color should be used with care because if you apply a lot, you might end up looking sick or sunburned. Just apply it ever so lightly to get that vintage vibe.

Lantern is a reddish coral shade. It's such a pretty summer shade, and the perfect coral shade for dark skin tones because the red tone will make it pop.

I like the idea of getting three, ultra pigmented blushes in a compact palette, but without having to pay so much, not to mention the shades don't look cheap at all. Sleek's blushes have the nicest colors around, but I have a little issue with its pigmentation and quality-it is a blessing and a curse: It's a blessing because it's so efficient and it will last you forever, and a curse at the same time because it may appear too strong and patchy if you don't blend it properly. With a nice, fluffy blush, patience, and neat blending skills, you can make it work! If you don't mind the extra effort, I would suggest this product to you especially if you're morena/tan and looking for great blush shades to wear this coming summer.

  3. I'm liking the Lantern shade out of all the three. I've always used pink blushes since forever and I'm eyeing a coral shade this time around. This product looks very much worth every penny because for the price you already get 3 wonderful blush colors. The packaging does not look cheap either. This is a product that I will be proud to get out of my bag. Thanks for the review!

  4. Wow! The happy blush-on! :) But I find it intimidating. I'm not really good with blending and still working on it. Hehe. Anyway, the colors suit you. They look good with tanned skin.

  6. Never tried it yet but I did read good reviews about it. Someone even suggested that I use the Highlighter and Contour pack from this similar brand although they did also tell me that I should use this in caution since they really are pigmented and may need practice in application...but still, it came highly recommended.
