Prom Essentials: Beauty Products to Put in Your Clutch

You know I’m a fan of big bags, but this doesn’t mean I hate small bags aka clutches completely. They’re pretty cool and add a touch of class to your outfit, especially Prom.

Clutches will also teach you a thing or two about strategic packing because for one, you only have very limited space, so you have to choose what you bring wisely. If I were to attend Prom this month, these are the beauty stuff I will bring so I’ll look fabulous all- night long. I also categorized it according to common skin concerns so click READ MORE to see the list.

OILY SKIN

Oil Blotting Sheets, blotting powder, and powder foundation to retouch coverage that has faded.

DRY SKIN

Mini atomizer bottle with facial mist, (I actually provided a mini bottle of my Hygienix alcohol here because I was losing my mini facial mist. But you get my point) creamy powder foundation (to retouch coverage. The creamy texture will also help soothe dry areas), cream blush.

 DRY LIPS

Tinted Lip Gloss or Lip Balm, a soothing lipstick
SKIN WITH DISCOLORATION

Powder Foundation, Touch- Up stick, mini powder brush

Now here’s my personal beauty arsenal for Prom:

Touch-Up Stick, Oil-Blotting Sheet, Creamy Powder Foundation, Lipstick

You can definitely mix and match the products I suggested in your clutch, depending on your needs! Hope you like this post!

  1. I always find it hard to fit lots of makeup into small pouches. This post of yours is really helpful!

  2. Will be pressed powder be enough in case I don't bring powder foundation? I'm kinda worried about caking up even after blotting. Errrr.. thanks for tips!

  3. This isn't a literal "beauty/makeup" tip, but if I may also suggest, sneak in a couple of bobby pins and safety pins in your clutch! Those prom updos and custom gowns are verrry prone to malfunction. The pins are very tiny and wouldn't take up so much space anyway.
