Snoe Beauty Super Fresh Dry Conditioner Review

THE VERDICT:

I've heard of the Dry Shampoo, but never a Dry Conditioner until this one from Snoe came along. This is a pretty cool invention because naturally, conditioning comes after shampooing (for most) and I guess this principle applies to dry hair cleansing as well!

This newest Hair Hero also comes with a complementing Super Fresh Dry Shampoo. It's  a no- rinse Dry Conditioner infused with Sage and Peppermint to keep hair smelling fresh and cool, and also promises to soften locks. Snoe suggested that it can be used after Dry Shampooing or after blow- drying for super smooth and soft hair that allows you to style it easily.

Ingredients: Tapioca starch, Aluminum starch octenylsuccinate, Dimethicone/ vinyl dimethiconecrosspolymer (and) silica, Hydroxyethyl urea, Sodium bicarbonate, Fragrance, Menthol crystals, Menthapiperita (Peppermint) oil, Melaleucaalternifolia (Tea tree) leaf oil, Salvia sclarea (Clary) oil.

More about this perfect Dry Shampoo partner after the break!

Texture is starchy and smells fruity-floral with a hint of Peppermint, just like the rinse-off Super Fresh Conditioner. It's very easy to use: Just pour a few on your palm and rub on your strands, then brush off the excess. I just find that the sifter is a tad bit small for the powder so I remove the cap to dispense the product straight out of the bottle.

Hair strands coated with two layers of the dry conditioner

I only use it on the mid-section and ends of my hair because I find that it leaves a white cast on my scalp and quite frankly, it's hard to remove. I would suggest you use a paddle brush to remove the product from your hair strands effectively. The product leaves an ashy residue on my hair so I'd have to brush it off for quite a while to get rid of the product. Afterwards, my hair feels really soft, just as promised, and I love that it takes away the stiff feeling and rough texture caused by Dry Shampoo. Oh, it leaves my hair smelling really fresh too. Snoe suggested that it can be used as a finishing powder-I believe they meant that it's good for setting makeup too, but I haven't gotten around to trying that.

I'd say it's necessary to have this product if Dry Shampoo is part of your beauty routine because it will help prevent breakage and will make your hair feel 'normal'. It's not really a necessity for me, but I see myself using it if ever I feel the need to use Dry Shampoo. It's also local and not that expensive too.

  1. This is the first time that I heard about dry shampoo and conditioner so its quite interesting. But yes, I think it would not be necessary for me (also) to use it because I'm not using any dry shampoo whatsoever. Is there any similarities to a leave on conditioner? Since it's a no rinse conditioner, I think it comes close to being one. :)

  6. Woah. I thought it was going to be a leave-on conditioner with a different name, but powder? That's innovative. I've never tried a dry shampoo before because I do the talcum powder trick, though accidentally applying to my scalp causes it to itch... Yeah, maybe it's time to look into dry shampooing.

  7. Quimz: Hi and welcome to my blog! It's one of those quick fix products that are nice to have. It's different than a leave in conditioner. Leave in conditioners are meant to moisturize and keep hair soft. This one is just for cleansing. albeit it has softening properties-you still have to apply leave in afterwards to make hair manageable. :)

    RM: Yeah, same thoughts. :)

Matromao: Dry shampooing is great if your always in a hurry, or when you're traveling. I personally use dry shampoo and conditioner only when needed. :)

    Kat: Thanks! :D
