DUPE ALERT! MAC Freckletone is prolly the best nude lipstick out there, at least to me and I'm happy to report that I found a dupe in Too Cool For School's Smoky Nudy Lip Color in Satin Beige! :D
TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL SMOKY NUDY LIP COLOR IN SATIN BEIGE IN DETAIL
This product is part of TCFS's Glam Rock Collection, which is actually more Punk- inspired to me than Glam Rock. Smoky Nudy Lip Color comes in two shades: this and a warmer kind of beige.

The lipstick is very creamy, but texture is superbly light-no need to warm it up to get it going. It has good smoothing powers and it fills in lines for a bit. It has no scent and coverage is medium to heavy. It looks better if layered for two times or more (but not too much!) though-this way, you'll get a more even finish.
Satin Beige is pale beige shade with a hint of peach, just like Freckletone. The only difference is, the latter has a glossier finish and the peachy undertone becomes more prominent if it's layered heavily. I believe this is the more pigmented dupe of that fab lipstick. I experienced zero dryness with this lipstick, albeit it doesn't stay on for too long, around 3 hours maximum because of its moisturizing texture. It doesn't bleed around the lips though and that's a great feature. It looks fab on both fair and dark skin tones, and I love that the color gives me that pretty nude look without making me look sick. The downside is, this is a limited edition product, I believe, but I'm sure you can still find it somewhere or if you're in for some luck, you might still find it in Too Cool For School's stores. If you happen to score one, lucky you because this is one gorgeous color!

Aww I'm not really into nude lipsticks as I feel that they make me look dull. I guess this is a pass for me.

ReplyDelete@sunshinegirl You might find it cheaper there, though it might also be phased-out by the time you get there. I went from store to store looking for this limited edition Etude House eyeshadow palette that was just newly launched here in the Philippines and a lipstick from Skin Food. Not one store had any stock left, though the Testers were still displayed. Apparently, the company already stopped producing. When I came back, they had plenty of stock here, so I had no choice but to buy at regular price locally. :( Best of luck to you though.
