THE VERDICT:

My, when was the last time I posted a nail art tutorial, let alone a nail polish review! I just decided to give my nails a break from all that paint, and little did I know that I'd give it a full- blown vacation!

Now I'm back in the mood to paint my nails again and for my first- ever nail polish review for 2014, take a look at Bobbi Brown's premium nail polish in Pink Valentine and Bronze. Click READ MORE for the swatches!

BOBBI BROWN NAIL POLISH IN PINK VALENTINE AND BRONZE IN DETAIL

Pink Valentine is part of the Pink and Red Collection, while Bronze is from Nude Glow Collection. Both shades are limited edition-I haven't checked the local Bobbi counters lately, but I hope these shades are still there!

BOBBI BROWN NAIL POLISH IN PINK VALENTINE AND BRONZE IN ACTION

Pink Valentine is a true hot pink shade. Makes my digits appear cleaner and adds a wee bit of pinkish, healthy tone to it.

Bronze is a lovely true bronze shade with bronze shimmer. Finish is metallic. This shade truly compliments a tan! This is my most favorite shade between the two, although it is pretty hard to remove as I find that this particular formula sticks so well onto my nail bed.

Bobbi's nail polishes have exceptional fluidity and they don't turn sticky when you use it closely to an electric fan (but not right in front of it) or in a breezy area, thus you don't get blotchy, uneven coverage. Coverage is medium to heavy and formula is touch dry in around 2 minutes. Pink Valentine chips easily in about three to four days though (we also have to consider that I work out real hard three times a week!), but not Bronze. Bronze's metallic formula is very, very nice to work with as it goes on smoothly and the shimmers are fine and almost liquid- like-wish it comes off easily though! I can't think of any other con with its quality, except the price. If you're willing to splurge on nail polish though, consider Bobbi Brown! ;)

  1. I really hate when nail polishes get all clumpy and gross after a while even when tightly sealed in a bottle but the formula of these BB nail polishes are amazing. I don't normally spend that much on nail polish but considering the quality of the BB nail polishes, I think It's worth the splurge.

  2. Ms. M. You should also try the Laura Mercier nail polish, they are watery but has a medium to heavy coverage. I betbyou'll love it. ;))

  3. indeed great in quality pero ang mahal nya.

pag masyadong dense mahirap iadjust. And unlike other brands, wala pang two days natatanggal na.

  4. Oh wow, lovely colors! I especially love the bronze one. I hate it when nail polish gets too sticky before you could even finish applying it so I'm happy to hear that Bobbi Brown ain't one of those polishes but it's too pricey for the likes of me. *Sighs*
