THE VERDICT:
I've found a day-to-night eyeshadow palette that's super morena - friendly and it's Estēe Lauder's Bronze Goddess Eyeshadow Palette. It's a well- curated palette that will make you look fresh and pretty during the day, and transform you into a golden bombshell come night time. I rarely fancy pre-selected palettes, but this one, I like so much!
ESTĒE LAUDER BRONZE GODDESS EIGHT- COLOR EYESHADOW PALETTE IN DETAIL
This is part of Estēe Lauder's summer collection called Bronze Goddess. It features nail polishes, lip products, and bronzers together with this stunning palette. It's limited edition, btw.
The eyeshadows are housed in a lightweight cardboard palette with a magnetic closure and adorned with a mirage- like print-it's slim, but pretty long though. I would like to commend the embedded mirror too- it's pretty huge, thus I can retouch my makeup properly on it.
This palette features 5 matte neutrals and 3 frosted eyeshadows. You can mix and match both finishes to create depth and texture on your lids. It also comes with a dual- ended applicator brush for quick color touch- ups.
Swatches after the cut!
TOP, L-R: Matte creamy white, matte paper beige, matte flesh-beige, matte cork brown, matte charcoal brown
BOTTOM, L-R: Frosted white gold, frosted copper, frosted deep violet
**Pardon my shot! My camera is dying already! :(
The frosted ones have a creamy, geleé texture, (a signature of Estēe Lauder eyeshadows) which makes them even more pigmented than regular frosted eyeshadows. It's pretty creamy that you won't need to add water to it to intensify its color payoff, and it clings so well onto the skin.
ESTĒE LAUDER BRONZE GODDESS EIGHT- COLOR EYESHADOW PALETTE IN ACTION
Matte Eyeshadows
Ooooh…look at that shadowy effect on my lids! This is the kind of eyeshadow finish that I prefer wearing during daytime: Soft, smooth, and totally looks natural!
Frost Eyeshadows
The Bronze shade is my favorite! Since the frosted eyeshadows are creamy, they fade on oily lids so be sure to use an eye primer with it.
I just pop this palette in my bag especially on jam- packed days wherein I have events from sun up to sun down. What I like about the combination of the finishes and colors of this palette is they all compliment each other so you can just slap one color on top of the other without worrying that they'll look off or you'll come up with a weird, new color. If you have the budget and you want a super easy to use and high quality eyeshadow palette that contains a bevy of basic and versatile colors, you should try this especially if you have golden skin! But if you have fair skin, this palette will also work for you because it can warm up your skin tone.

Both the matte and frosted eyeshadows in this palette look so sooo gorgeous. I love wearing a neutral eye make-up with a simple hint of shimmer! The colors are just perfect. I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of use out of this if ever I get my hands on it. I remember my first Estee Lauder eyeshadow palette. Loved it!
ReplyDeletesuper love the colors.
ReplyDeleteLove how the matte neutrals also compliment the frosted ones. I'll definitely love to try this set if given the chance. Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the colors..... :)
ReplyDeleteI love the matte, I always prefer to use it.. I haven't tried to combine them but I guess it's worth a try.
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a fan of eyeshadows, but this palette is lovely! I especially like the matte ones! Perfect for daytime!
ReplyDeleteLove the palette! Especially the frosted ones :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shades of bronze there, eh. Yah it's perfect for daytime look as it contours the eyes. I love this palette. Sana magkaron din ako nito.
ReplyDeletei love that they included more matte shades than the shimmer ones... it makes it more useable, especially for working girls... but still too pricey though...
ReplyDeleteI'm more of a matte user than a frosted one. I usually dare frost in some occasions but still go for neutral colors. This palette is definitely handy for having a day look transformed into a night look.
ReplyDeleteMarielle: It's available na locally, I believe. It's EL's summer collection. :)
ReplyDeleteMajorie: Agree! :)
Cat: That's so true-normally, it's hard to find a palette with more matte than neutral shades :)
DearKaaat: Same preference! :)
First of all, the packaging is FIERCE. I'm so into the tortoise shell right now. (In fact, I'm into the tortoise shell anytime.) Second, I love how there is a good, FULL selection of matte shadows accented with a few shimmer/metallic ones and not the other way around. I like when a palette can produce a simple no makeup look, but can also be dressed up for later. I can picture this as a total bag staple for gals on the go.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. This is a fabulously curated palette, and it looks versatile enough to suit even fair-skinned women.
