THE VERDICT:
Sometimes, I wish I have thirty fingers so I can swatch all my nail products so I could review 'em all right away. Sometimes, I also want to use my toes for product swatching, but thought that fingers are better in photos haha! I've had these MAC nail polishes in Screening Room and St. Germain for about 8 months now and when I decided to try 'em on last Monday, I was surprised that they still aren't sticky-texture feels so new that I decided to share this amazement right away to you guys!

MAC NAIL LACQUER IN ST.GERMAIN AND SCREENING ROOM IN ACTION
ST. GERMAIN
- Inspired by the popular St. Germain Lipstick. This shade is a neon- ish light pink.
SCREENING ROOM
- A Peacock Blue shade. This beauty is my favorite among the two, although it leaves a tough residue!
St. Germain and Screening Room are both Cream. It has an opaque coverage with a texture that's very smooth, creamy, and nice to use in general that you won't have a problem achieving an even finish with it. It also has a hint of glossiness to it, but it's not that long-wearing as advertised as I get tiny chips on the edge of my nails after two or three days even if I seal it with a top coat. It's either that, or I'm really rough on my hands! It's a good buy because quality's pretty great, it has a long shelf life, it's the only polish I know that includes UV protection, and it doesn't leave my nail beds dry and patchy even if I've been wearing it for more than a week already. If you want a more long-wearing polish from MAC, try the Frosted ones!

ReplyDeleteI heard the MAC Nail Polish is so so when it comes to nail polish now that I have read your review seems like I wanna try it now also most people that have tried MAC nail polish recommended to buy the glitter polish since it has a good formula
ReplyDeleteGaah, I love the Screening Room!! Is it glossy enough alone? Does this need to be coated with clear polish?
ReplyDeleteSt Germain makes me think of Barbie! It's kinda reminds me of Bobbi Brown's Pink Velvetine. Mejo parehas. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou had them almost 8 months and still look like new?? Wow! Indeed It has a long shelf life ☺️

ReplyDeleteThe frosted ones, I think, would be a pain to remove! :) The screening room looks great on your skin tone. For its price, it's sad to know that it's not long-wearing. I would expect it to last for a week without chipping. Great review! <3 xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat blue shade (Screening Room): to die for! Love that shade. I'm on a blue polish kick lately :P
