THE VERDICT:

Long time no review! I’ve been meaning to go back to writing because nothing beats good ol’ writing as a form of  I’ve got a few articles in the pipeline, starting with this!

Just want to share the liquid blush that I'm enjoying at the moment: Spotlight Soft Wand Cushion, a liquid blush that’s rich in pigment, feels moisturizing, and definitely perfect for dry and aging skin.

Comfort Rose

This is just one swipe of the wand, fyi. Look how pigmented and smooth the color payoff is. From the get go, it already feels moisturizing, which makes it joyful to use and easy to blend on the cheeks. It also blends well with any tool you use it with, but personally, I love using a makeup sponge because it diffuses the color better.

The packaging reminds me of Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup wands, except that this is in pen form. It’s much more compact, though it can be slightly messy because once the foam is saturated with the product, it may stain the inside portion of the cap and you have to wipe it clean after every use.

I’m wearing Comfort Rose on my cheeks. I use it under and over makeup, and I do love that the formula is versatile enough to be used on bare and even powdered skin.

It has a staining effect so it lasts long and since the formula is moisturizing, it does not look dry on my cheeks after a couple hours of wear. It’s a really nice formula for aging skin; if you’re the type who loves to use liquid blush and you have aging or dry-oily combination skin, this is a great item to pick up. A little steep for drugstore liquid blush though, but it’s nice to know that there’s a liquid blush option for aging skin like mine and that I can easily grab whenever needed.

Have you tried this product? Are you into liquid blush?
