Physiogel: Free In My Skin

Time and again, I would say to all my readers that taking care of the skin is important because it will affect the way you see yourself and in turn, affect the way others see you. When you take care of your skin, it shows and it inspires other people to take care of their own too, and gives you the confidence to move forward and with that confidence, you just feel happier and freer.

Physiogel newest campaign, #FreeInMySkin featuring the lovely Patti Grandidge highlights the importance of loving and caring for your skin, and encourages every person to start the habit too. With all the good and affordable beauty products out there, having good skin is not impossible anymore-all you need is just the drive and willpower to get after it!

In the #FreeInMySkin launch, Patti graced the event and happily shared with us how her dry, sensitive skin held her back and even challenged the way she saw herself. With the help of Physiogel, according to Patti, she was able to overcome her skin dilemma, thus finally letting her live comfortably and free in her skin.

Physiogel has been around for a long time already and in case you didn't know, it is a brand of non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic face and body cleansers, and moisturizers that are made for dry, sensitive skin-it features the Derma Membrane Structure (DMS) technology that infuses your skin with ceramides and lipids that mimic the skin's own lipid layers, thus locking in moisture to soothe, protect, and heal the skin.

I enjoyed hearing stories about skin confidence in the event with these two awesome ladies! :) We all agreed that having nice skin is one good reason to smile about! :)

With the quirky Raisa of Physiogel who btw, has really, really great- looking skin. :D

  1. You guys are so lovely! I love the theme of the movement which addresses taking care of our skin. A lot of girls nowadays experience having low self esteem due to the criticisms from other people. And some of these girls experience negative criticisms because of bad skin. Physiogel offers an affordable way to bring the skin we wanted. I love Physiogel because it isn't harsh on the skin, it doesn't have strong smell and it's super effective, even for those who have sensitive skin.

  2. I adore the Physiogel line! They're very mild on the skin, while doing the job it's supposed to do. Other facial skincare products kasi is too harsh, which ends up drying the skin, reversing the effects of a moisturizer. You'll know that the cleanser is too harsh when every time after you use it, parang ang tight and squeaky clean ng skin. With the Physiogel cleanser, you won't feel this. It's super mild talaga.

Hope they would come up with a sunscreen!

  3. Now that I read this post, I realized that I was so focused at hiding my skin's imperfections instead of treating the problem first.

I stopped all the chemicals that I've been using on my face (tretinoin, clindamycin, benzoyl peroxide) since I feel that I'm being too harsh, but I just could not stop using makeup as I am not comfortable with my bare face. I always tell myself to restock on Physiogel's moisturizer (love it. seriously) but I always end up buying makeup items. Hooray for putting natural beauty into spotlight! Thank you for posting a nice reminder, Martha! ;)

  4. Physiogel is another amazing brand. <3 My mom's a derma so we get a lot of samples from brands like Physiogel. I think one of their absolute BEST products is their AI Lotion. It works wonders on cracked heels, rough elbows, itchy dry patches, etc. And it's super thick so a little goes a long way.

  5. the article is such a good reminder on us girls.. not to undermine the skincare over makeup products that in the long run will only just be a quick fix in hiding our flaws.(note to myself... =)

  6. I feel like I'm open to giving these pharmacy products a try. I mean, despite the simpler packaging and the tendency to be on the pricier end of the spectrum when it comes to drugstore items, they are derma-recommended/prescribed. Above all else, I'd be tempted to pick up a product if I knew that it was hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin. It doesn't have to be fancy, it just has to work. --Matromao

  7. I used to use Physiogel cleanser. I've been using a lot of harsh gels to eliminate my acne so I opted for this one (while I was undergoing pimple gel treatment)s since it's not harsh to the skin one and I couldn't be happier with the results! I know it's not something that's targeted to treat acne but I find that it sort of did. I think it helped me heal my skin faster.

The physiogel cream, I don't really like since I tend to end up with red patches over my face (which happens when I apply some other creams as well - I think there is one particular ingredient common to these cream that my skin tend to react to) but their cleanser is the bomb!

  8. Abegaill: Thank you! My BF loves this product because it's the only cleanser that doesn't break him out, aside from Cetaphil :)

Cath: I love their cleanser too because it's so mild, plus takes away oil without drying out my skin. I know someone who recovered from Acne just by using Physiogel, just like you. Maybe I should try it for at least a month or two to know if it'll work the same for me too! :)

Foodworldme: Hey, I get you. I find this and Cetaphil a tad bit expensive considering that they're drugstore brands, but the fact that they're recommended by doctors is enough to make me look beyond the price and just buy! :)

Jessy: I have the physiogel cream lotion and I have to agree, it works wonders on cracked heels! :D

    Katrina: You're welcome! :D

Shary: Yup, that's true that's why I alternate cheap cleansers with moisturizing cleansers such as this to give my skin a sense of balance. :)
