THE VERDICT:

My hair's gotten so used to oil- based hair care products that it reacts by drying out and becoming unruly when I skip a day of using such products. Wow, ha, Hair, you're so vain! Haha!

Anyway, I have a new favorite oil- based hair care find and it's Pureology Precious Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. This super concentrated duo softens my locks effectively, as if it's always touched by the hair fairy plus it gives my hair a lil' volume boost too!

PUREOLOGY PRECIOUS OIL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER IN DETAIL

The shampoo has this super rich, golden, syrupy consistency and it foams up really well despite the fact that it's sulfate- free, thus giving you this 'real clean' feeling. The conditioner, on the other hand, is probably one of the richest and most luxurious conditioners I have ever tried: it's very emollient that two  five peso- sized drops are enough to get rid of tangles and dryness! This conditioner is quite different too as it produces a subtle foam when you work it on your hair.

Despite the rich consistencies of these products, they do not weigh my hair down-in fact, they both add a bit of volume to my limp, pin- straight hair. Both products have this tropical, coconut scent-I like it, actually, but it's pretty strong so if you're not a fan of coconut- scented products, you might find this duo a bit strong for your liking.

It leaves a long- lasting fragrance to my hair that even when I work out or I stay outdoors for a long time, my hair still smells nice and that's a huge plus for me! This would be my most favorite Pureology line to date and I'm looking forward to purchasing it in the future, and the effect I get from this product is a lil' close to Kerastase Elixir Ultime 24 Carat line so I'd say it's a good dupe!

  3. I've seen this on BDJ events as well as the unboxing of BDJBoxes. I'm really really curious about it. I just can't buy it as I find it pricey. :/ I'll save up for this. I really need hair products that would care for my hair especially now that I'm exposed to sun and pollution. Hope to try out its miracles soon. :)
