THE VERDICT:
Oh Valentine's Day is here. Where are you spending yours tomorrow? :) As for me and my BF, we're just going to do what we do best and that is eating...A LOT. LOL! It's going to be an eventful day for me and him tomorrow so I'll slow down for a bit today and indulge in beautifying home treatments. I'm thinking of steaming my face tonight with Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Cleansing Oil.
JUICE BEAUTY STEM CELLULAR CLEANSING OIL IN DETAIL
This beautifying oil from Juice Beauty cleanses, moisturizes, hydrates, and brightens skin with Vitamin E and C, and a proprietary blend of plant- derived stem cells from Apple Buds, Grape Buds, and Lemon Bark. All the plant- derived ingredients in this product are certified organic, and formula is free from the following: Paraben, SLES, SLS, Mineral Oil, Petroleum, Butylene Glycol, Phthalates, Pesticides, artificial dyes, and synthetic fragrances. FYI, Juice Beauty is one of the legit organic skin care brands in the world.

With the presence of Stem Cells in the formula, I believe this product is best used by those with aging skin, particularly those dealing with hyperpigmentation, dullness, fine lines, and wrinkles as Stem Cell is a prized ingredient in the Anti-Aging industry.

Product comes in one size only, 120ml and with a really controllable pump-the pump is not resealable, however. Once you open it, you gotta finish it!
It's a semi-watery oil that immediately removes makeup upon skin contact and leaves a hydrating barrier on the skin-consistency is not too 'heavy' that those with oily skin can tolerate it and quite moisturizing that those with dry and normal skin will love it. It has this soothing lavender scent as well. However, it is a little tough to rinse out since it's pure oil so I always use a sudsy facial cleanser to remove it. I didn't break out from this product and after using it for one month straight, I felt that my skin's moisture level has improved. Not sure if I experienced skin brightening with this product though.

I used this oil to remove a couple of waterproof eyeliner swatches on my arm and it wiped away everything in just a few swipes.
Aside from being a makeup remover, I also like using this product as a treatment and it goes like this: I apply a sheer layer of the oil on pre-cleansed skin, put a warm towel on top of my face, leave both on for 5-10 minutes, and then I rinse off the residue. The result is my skin feels super soft, smooth, it looks healthy, plus this technique is a nice way to let the skin absorb the Stem Cellular ingredients.

This product is a bit on a pricey side, but that's just how it is with genuine organic skin care products-they will really cost you a lot most of the time. Well, if you don't mind the price just as long as you know that what you're using is certified organic, I think you will love Juice Beauty! I also think that this product will work beautifully on any skin type, especially if you are looking for a cleansing oil that will never dry out your skin nor make it feel clogged and oily.

This is a great product according to my friends but I haven't tried this myself. I can see how radiant their skin looks like but i don't have the budget still. I have my to-buy list though and I will add this. I hope it absorbs well on the face. I like this product based on your review. I agree it is a bit pricey but definitely worth the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this because of it removes make up and oil in the face. Perfect for my skin type. Thanks for this review. I love reading your reviews because I learned so much from you. :)

ReplyDeleteim not a fan of oil cleansing product but i became curious with this one because of the word "stem-cellular" and most of the ingredients were "organic" free from paraben and SLS too!
bit steep but worth every cent for the quality! (15php for every 1 ml)
oh wow this is interesting. It's my first time to encounter a cleansing oil that can be used as a treatment. But I guess, it's fine, considering the price :D
