When Lush pioneered the Shampoo Bar, Mother Nature rejoiced because that meant one less shampoo bottle going straight to the ocean floor and one less whale choking on it for every Shampoo Bar sold. It's a great invention in my opinion and brands-even drugstore brands-should follow suit-maybe it's time that we take 'Living Green' seriously. I dream that one day, brands will leave us with no choice but to live sensibly and holistically. It can happen-just look at the Shampoo Bar!
Lush Shampoo Bar is naked, unpreserved, natural, and downright convenient-it's one of Lush's hallmark products and they just added 5 new variants to the line this year.
The 5 brand spankin' Shampoo Bars were launched in the Philippines at Piandrè Salon in The Fort Bonifacio Global City last week. Guests were treated to their preferred Shampoo Bars, conditioners, and hair masks. Click READ MORE and get to know Lush's Shampoo Bars and luxurious hair care collection!

Lush pampered our locks the entire afternoon. They asked us to customize our hair treatment and that made everything even more fun-I love it when I can customize my services. :D
So I chose the following products:
- Shampoo: Jason and The Argan Oil Shampoo Bar
- Hair Mask: H'Suan Wen Hua, a super conditioning mask that restores dry and brittle hair coupled with Roots Hair Mask for fine, thin hair, my hair
- Leave-In: BIG Sea Salt Spray
Wow, nice hair! I looooooved my hair that day as it was so fragrant, so big, and so classy! Dear God, can I wake up like this forever? I am not kidding!
The Shampoo Bar was nice and sudsy, and it smelled really good, the mask I used is said to keep hair smelling fragrant for up to three days and yup, it did, and the Sea Salt Spray provided the right kind of hold without making my hair look and smell plasticky. :)

shampoo bars...that's a new idea
ReplyDeleteFirst time for me to here about shampoo bars! I always go to lush but I haven't noticed them. Maybe I did, but I mistaken them as soap. Haha. I love going to Lush stores as it smell so fragrant talaga. Papalapit ka pa lang, alam mo nang Lush store yun. I always buy soap from them. It has quirky names too. How much does each bar cost? I want to try the Lullaby. Description and name pa lang, mukhang relaxing na. Perfect to for weekends na walang lakad. Haha
ReplyDeleteI agree, I hope drugstore products would follow lessening the packaging. Specifically, non-biodegradable packaging. I prefer tubes pa naman when buying shampoo and conditioner kasi as convenient gamitin and i-store compared sa sachets.
Fresh idea for a shampoo. I will definitely try those :)
ReplyDeletei've been familiar to the brand ms m.. what makes me think of this brand? their bath bombs! sayang wala naman kamin bath tub hihi..
ReplyDeletebeen to their store twice or thrice but havent bought anything i love the scent of their store relaxing (siguro ms m dahil sa daming items nila na mababango talaga) i have some of their items on my wishlist -- even on my to buy list
i would love to try their shampoos and conditioner!! and im curious with their Shampoo Bars! (i could recall when i was little we used perla white as shampoo and body soap in one) but i know ms m this one is different, and from the five i would love to try Godiva! (for i was a sucker of a multi-tasking product) and this is great.. shampoo and conditioner! and wh would say no to a sexy scents? this is defintely worth to try product! Thank you for sharin your experience with us ms m!
I prefer bars - shampoo bars, facial cleansing bars, feminine hygiene bars.
ReplyDeleteThe shampoo bars looks like a pastry/ cupcake to me :3 But it is really a brilliant idea to have a shampoo in a bar form.
ReplyDeleteDuring my childhood days, I often use bar soap instead of shampoo because it is easier to use and tipid! Di ba, Lush's bath bombs are one of the best products from the brand. And now, meron ng shampoo bars! Too cool :) Plus, it is really environment- friendly since less na ang bottle na mapapatapon! Good job Lush!
Martha that big and classy hair looks really fab on you. Yes please I hope everyday we can just wake up to that kind of hair haha.
ReplyDeleteHow come I never tried soap bars before... After reading your reviews here I must change, nasanay lang talaga tayo na liquid shampoo bec itheir easily available everywhere sa tindahan di nawawala yan hehe.
I hope you have another review about shampoo spray (?) good for traveling ata yun or if nagmamadali ka.
We women must invest on really good hair care products bec our hair is our crowning glory. Literally. Haha! The Lush soap bars look awesome and yummy and you can easily bring it everywhere compared to shampoo bottles that you have to make sure pa na Hindi magkakalat sa bag.
Are these already available in-store? No Braziliant among the new variants?
