PIXY LIPSTICKS IN DETAIL
So these are three out of the seven lip product lines of Pixy. Silky Fit Semi-Matte is enriched with Vitamin E and Sweet Almond Oil to give you a smooth, moisturizing, light matte finish. Lasting Matte promises a bold, matte coverage with its soft formula that won't feel like a drag and tug on your skin during application. Lastly, Silky Fit Satin Lipstick is a pigmented, moisture- infusing lipstick.

PIXY LIPSTICKS IN ACTION
Silky Fit Lipstick Satin Autumn Apricot 507
- A nutty, Tawny hue.
Warm, nutty, and everything cozy-yup, Home comes to mind the first time I sported this shade. It's a beautiful color to wear on dress down days and when hitting your local coffee shop on a Saturday afternoon for a one-on-one with your favorite frappucino and fiction.
This lipstick has a nice, creamy texture and it douses my lips with rich, smoothing color yet it doesn't feel 'heavy'.
Silky Fit Lipstick Semi-Matte in Haruka 220
- Salmon-Rose shade.
This pretty Springtime color is something I'd wear to garden parties, morning walks, and Tagaytay breakfasts-this color just reminds me to relax! :)
This lipstick is matte with a hint of dew and I find that between the three, this variant has the sheerest texture as it feels just like lip balm.
Lasting Matte Lipstick in Pink Smoothie LM207
- A pale Coral Pink.
A shade that takes takes me back to the time when I was just exploring the intricacies of young love. :P This 'soft' color gives you that fresh, Hey-I-Look-Like-16 look. :D
This demi- matte color stays put without feathering and drying out the lips. It comes off once I eat or drink, albeit gradually.
Everything has a uniform, moisturizing finish and coverage of the lipsticks ranges from light to heavy. Staying power is poor since these are balmy lipsticks, but at least (despite the price) they don't taste and smell weird, consistency is truly gentle to the lips and hydrating, colors don't look cheap, and they are priced just right. To be honest, these are just another batch of moisturizing lippies, but it's great to know that we're having more and more choices in the drugstore!

ReplyDeletei like the Lasting Matte Lipstick in Pink Smoothie LM207 ms m! oh ms m EB has released their new lipstick range (housed in white tube which is bit similar to MAC) most of the shades were in pink! and i havent seen anyone who blogs about it aside from posting swatches on their IG
hope you can feature it too ms m =)
The silky fit satin autumn apricot is soo gorgeous!:)
ReplyDeleteI bought the lasting matte in red (forgot the exact shade). I just bought one because I'm scared that it has a weird taste since it's affordable. But when I got to try it, I loved it! I agree that staying power is poor. For me that has a biting lip habit, it wouldn't last for 2 hours. But I love the color payoff. :) Will try the other types soon
ReplyDeleteA friend of my sister uses Pixy lipsticks she said it's very moisturizing (is it because of almond & peanut oil?) So I thought it's expensive, surprisingly it's not!
ReplyDeleteAlso is this new in the Philippines?
I like that they have satin, semi-matte and matte version!
I always prefer matte- less sheen & more pigmented. Pero na curious ako sa satin.
