I've been reading a couple of positive reviews about Covergirl's new Ready, Set, Gorgeous line, but I only got to try them last week through an intimate event/catching-up/foolin' 'round with my Beauty Blogger-cum-friends and the crazy/beautiful ladies at RMK and Covergirl Philippines.
Ready, Set, Gorgeous is a makeup collection for oily skin. It features an oil- free formula and a built- in powder system that pulls away oil from the skin instead of trapping them under foundation, thereby preventing caking and that thick, heavy feeling. It's a straightforward collection for the complexion that features a concealer, liquid foundation, and powder foundation.

Brand Manager for Covergirl Philippines, Jinkie Simbulan, had demonstrated a quick, fresh- faced tutorial using the Ready, Set, Gorgeous products and her personal favorite from the brand, Covergirl Cheekers Blush. I'll do this on my blog soon featuring the same products. :)
Thanks for the fun time, ladies! :D

Aww I feel excited again to Covergirl new products! I will definitely wait for the review..
ReplyDeleteIm not relaly sure how good cg foundations are. I knkw their lash blast mascara is the bomb. I heard this is an above average foundation though preferably for everyday use. some said its buildable but not too think as it would look mask like. Looking forward to your review miss m. Im not sure if im quite ready to give up my maybelline mousse foundation just yet hehe.
ReplyDeleteI will be waiting for your review on the pressed powder. My Maybelline BB Silk Cake is almost empty and i have no plans to repurchase because i want to try something else. I have an extremely oily t-zone so this might work for me.
ReplyDeletei have only tried their blush on 3-4 years ago ms m and now finally they're now available in our beauty counters!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try this! Keeping my oiliness at bay is a bit hard especially on this humid weather in the Philippines. :-)
ReplyDeleteAgh! Will wait for your review then! I haven't tried CoverGirl base yet, but I'm excited about this since it's specifically for oily skinned girls like me! Plus i love the collection name! :)
ReplyDeleteThey have a great selection of shades. It is also nice that they have formulated this for oily skin which is perfect for our humid weather.
ReplyDeleteSuper nice, Covergirl! I love their lipsticks, too. I'd like to try their oil control pressed powder. I'm loving this line already because it's formulated for oily skin gals like me. Woohoo! :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm. sayang. My skin's not oily. Not sure if I will use these. I love the packaging though. And very affordable too. :)
ReplyDeleteI have tried those Covergirl products during the BDJ Box Beauty soiree event. I was actually impressed by the quality of the products! The concealer is so light as well as the other products. My only problem is that the powder has a few shades only. But performance wise, these products are worth a try. They're affordable too. :) The liquid foundation has medium coverage for me. :) The products doesn't smell bad.
ReplyDeleteCan I just point out that Katy Perry looks so different when she's doing the duck face? :p
ReplyDeleteI want to try their pressed powder. For some reason, mas mabilis ako makahanap ng shade na match in pressed powders and powder foundations that I do with liquid foundation.
I have tried their Trublend foundation, but was a little disappointed with the way the formula clings to my skin. Hope that is not the case for this line.
Looking forward for your review and tutorial. Nice pouch :)
ReplyDeleteThey're affordable! Can't wait for the reviews! :-)
ReplyDeleteI want to try the pressed powder! I would love if you'll do a review of this. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat's good with Cover girl is it's coverage and most products have safer ingredients.
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think of this post! :)
