THE VERDICT:
You probably don't know it, but false eyelashes can be VERY dirty and become breeding grounds for all sorts of bacteria, making them harmful to your eyes. Why so? Because false eyelashes, when worn, are exposed to sweat, sebum, tears, pollution, and air, things where bacteria can thrive, plus you can't really rinse it, thus it is super dirty; I even think that it's one of the dirtiest makeup tools ever!
I limit my usage of false eyelashes to three to five times only (depending on how I used it) before tossing 'em to keep my eyes healthy and safe; I adopted this habit after my left eye got irritated after wearing falsies; it's wasteful, but I'd rather be safe than sorry!
Beauty And Minerals had a great idea and that was to bring All Belle to the country, brand of false eyelashes. It's no ordinary falsies brand because their products are Antibacterial-now it's the first of its kind that I've encountered and I think it's brilliant! I can finally wear false eyelashes with the assurance that I won't get an eye infection! :D

All Belle is an SGS- certified brand of antibacterial false eyelashes and eye makeup accessories from Taiwan that uses Gamma Ray Sterilization procedures on all their products to ensure safety for the eyes, one of the most delicate parts of the face. It is a favorite and highly endorsed false eyelashes brand by celebrities and celebrity makeup artists in Taiwan.
The lashes feature the unique Oxy-Fibre strand as base: it's antibacterial and lightweight, according to All Belle, plus features the perfect C-curve shape to fit the natural curve of the eyes snuggly. The lash strands are made with soft, virgin synthetic fibers and do not contain recycled materials and additives for hygiene purposes.

There are 12 false eyelashes styles to choose from and this one is C4116; it fans out from the inner corner to the outer corner. It's so Angelina Jolie and such a unique style. Each tray contains 5 pairs.
This is All Belle's Eyelash Fix Adhesive. It's sterilized using the Gamma Ray Sterilization procedure and features antibacterial properties, just like the falsies.
Ingredients
Product features a thin nylon brush applicator. The glue is white, but it dries into a clear finish. It has this latex- like quality to it so it's flexible, comes off fairly easily, and does not rip out your natural lashes when you pull it out from your eyes. It works well for about 8 months before coagulating.

Going back to the falsies, the fibers are wispy and they don't feel hard and scratchy. Regarding the weight, I think it is relative to the thickness of the falsies: if it's like mine, which is pretty thick, it tends to feel that I am wearing falsies, but generally, it feels pretty okay. The glue stays intact the whole day and can withstand sebum and sweat, but I would suggest that you prime your eyes before wear, especially if you have really oily skin, for better adherence. I've had this set for over 2 years now and I use a pair at least 5 times before throwing it away (I've had it this long because I rarely wear falsies). I don't remember encountering any eye or skin problem with the falsies. The glue expired after 1 1/2 years.
Given its price point, I believe All Belle is best for personal use. Unlike makeup artists, we recycle our false eyelashes until they're no longer useable, thus making us more prone to bacterial infections and All Belle's Antibacterial properties may somehow protect us. If you wear false eyelashes all the time, this brand is perfect for you!

You look like a real beauty queen here Ms. Martha! Yes, you should publish it! I tried falsies for the first time this year during my brother's wedding. The MUA used a lightweight one since I'm not used to it yet. It's interesting to know that there's a brand that has sterilization technique to keep the buyers from safe from infection.

It's like you are born with a natural full longer lashes! Oh, I wish all of us are born with that kind of lashes:) The truth is, I don't see myself trying to wear false lashes, mascara is good enough for me. though If someday I will try, I go for this kind of product that gives good quality and it has antibacterial properties too:)
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a fan of falsies. :/ It feels like my lashes are going to fall anytime soon. Haha. I have only worn falsies once, and I'm not sure if I'll try it again. But those lashes are cool ha, with the gamma ray technology. :)
ReplyDeleteA problem of mine concerning falsie adhesive is that it tends to look shiny after drying thus making it look extra unnatural, but it's nothing that a layer of liner can't cover. I rarely wear falsies too but I like how it gives drama to the whole look versus just applying mascara. It's nice that this brand offers anti bacterial ones. I also like how this particular style fans out from the inner to the outer corner! :)
