THE VERDICT:

Matte sunblocks are rare and if ever you find one, it's most likely expensive or worse, not suitable for oily, clog- prone skin. This is why I want to share this find right away with everyone called Yadah Oh My Sunblock; It's an affordable, matte moisturizer that's great not only for oily skin, but for sensitive skin types as well. Sounds like a sunblock that everyone's been dreaming about. ;)

Ingredients

YADAH OH MY SUNBLOCK SPF 35 IN ACTION

Consistency is light cream and has a moisturizing consistency so no need to use a separate moisturizer if you use this one. It gets absorbed quickly and consistency is so friendly, it will suit a wide range of skin types from normal to dry; it won't make you feel as if you're wearing sunblock. It has a strong Lavender scent; it's soothing and I like it, but caution to those who are allergic to fragrances. Didn't break out from this one!

This sunblock yields a light matte finish. It doesn't really control oil, but doesn't induce it either. It's just a light, basic matte sunscreen. There aren't a lot of matte sunscreens available locally so this one is a very welcome choice for us here in the tropics. On top of its preferred matte, lightweight finish, it's very affordable given its quality and performance, plus it's so handy! I like it! ;)

  1. Been hearing so many good things about Yadah! I am currently using my Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish sun cream and it's matte and lightweight as well. If I ever run out of it, I'll check this out! :) thanks for this post!

  3. I am currently using my etudehouse sunblock as well.I am not exactly a fan of sunblock since I believe that my bb cream also has the properties of a sunblock.Besides I agree that most sun creams, so many out there in the market which has a downside I.e. brings out the oilies and the whitecast in photography due to SPF.But really it's nice there is a great find like this in Beauty Bar.. Effective and affordable, other sisters will find this good enough.Thank you for the review

  5. Super nice! affordable nga for a matte sunblock. The one I'm using right now is not matte, but gives a dewy finish. It's light on the skin too yet has fair amount of SPF. Would love to try this one from Yadah. :)

  6. A matte sunscreen sounds nice! I always tend to skip sunblock because they make my skin more oily. Yadah products' packaging are hard to resist too. :)

  9. What an interesting review! I've noticed that you've been reviewing more of Yadah's product range. Sure enough, it's cheaper than other Korean brands here in the Philippine market and your reviews have been generally positive as well. After reading so many beauty blog entries related to skin care regimen, apply sunscreen has been one of the most important steps yet I've always neglected this because sunscreens tend to give out this white cast and feels greasy. I'm looking forward to purchase this + the fact it's good also as a moisturizer. Whoo!
