 THE VERDICT:

Goat's Milk has been widely used in skin care products for the last decades, but do you really know what makes it even more precious than Cow's Milk? Goat's Milk is high in essential fatty acids and triglycerides that make it very effective in keeping the skin moisturized; its fatty acids have a unique pH that is similar to the pH of human skin that's why it is ideal for sensitive skin types and easily absorbed by the skin. Goat's Milk is abundant in Vitamin A as well as Lactic Acid and AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid), minerals that aid the skin in its natural exfoliation process. Indeed, Goat's Milk is good for you!

Tony Moly Naturalth Goat Milk Pure CC Cream, I believe, is the first CC Cream that is infused with Goat's Milk extract; Its versatile, highly moisturizing yet long- wearing formula makes it ideal for cool days in a tropical country!

TONY MOLY NATURALTH GOAT MILK PURE CC CREAM IN 02 BEIGE MILK IN DETAIL

This CC Cream contains a high concentration of Goat's Milk extract at 30% that moisturize, fortify, and help brighten the skin, Tamanu Oil that helps give a bright, glowing finish, and Honey and Agave bonding complex helps improve its wear time. It comes in two shades: 01 Pure Milk and 02 Beige Milk.

Ingredients

Okay, we have a new ingredient here: Tamanu Oil; this oil extract is being sourced from Tamanu Nuts and is said to be ideal for oily skin as it moisturizes without clogging, and has potent anti-acne, anti-scarring, anti-spot, and rejuvenating properties. It's a pretty new oil product in the beauty industry and I have yet to research more about its benefits and user testimonials; so far, I haven't broken out with this product so I guess Tamanu Oil is okay; Exercise more caution if you have sensitive skin though!

02 Beige Milk is a fair beige shade with a light yellow undertone. Consistency is like liquid cream, coverage is light to heavy, and has a light milky scent.

One layer of the CC Cream

Formula is less streaky compared to other CC Creams I have tried so that's a plus point for this product; I like that it dries off to a demi- matte finish yet still provides a moisturizing effect to my skin-it's like getting the best of both worlds. However, it is obviously too white for my life and it's a bit thick to be considered as a makeup base, which is what CC Creams truly are. I also noticed that all Korean CC Creams (at least the ones I tried) including this one only have white or pale beige as the color; I wish there would be more variety in terms of color because after all, CC Creams are supposed to conceal various skin discolorations and a white/pale beige shade can't address 'em all!

Staying power is okay at 3 hours before my T-Zone oils up and despite my combination skin, this product held up pretty well, although I'd have to note that I just started using it nowadays that the weather is pretty cool; I don't know if it will have the same staying power under a humid, scorching weather, but methinks, given its formula and finish, it will still be okay.

In the Philippines, even if the weather is damp and a bit cool, you will still experience a bit of warmness in it; Tony Moly Naturalth Goat Milk Pure CC Cream just has the perfect formula for this weather of ours because it's moisturizing, but won't melt off your skin; It's ideal for those with moderately dry skin, combination oily/normal skin, and even normal skin types. I just wish that there are options for warmer skin tones.

  1. So timely! I was actually waiting for your review and it came so soon! They mean it when they say it's made with goat's milk considering it's the first one on the ingredient's list! But as expected, this is still too light! I've never come across a CC cream that has a darker shade. So sad. I'll have to skip this one. Thanks for this post!

  2. I like the Goat's milk inclusion but that shade waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too light. Well their main target market is the typical Korean woman hence the shade range.

  3. The new ingredient has a lot of benefits. Quite interesting. Anyway when I saw the photo in action, I was oh my one layer of this cc cream looks super thick and I agree its too white but it looks good with the full makeup photo. I really wonder how you manage to do that always, you're really at your best on makeups.

  4. Teh, nakaka-OC ang spelling nya. "Naturalth"!!!! Sometimes, nakaka-turn off din yung mga maling spelling at grammar errors sa packaging ng mga Asian beauty products. Huhu

  6. I really miss wearing bb cream. But since I have oily skin, hindi ko na din natry and cc creams. Someday soon, siguro pag nagsnow na sa pinas hehe pwedeng pwede na kahit naka bb or cc cream lang tayo!

  7. Why are CC Creams so white? I've been wanting to try Korean CC cream but they are too white and I consider my skin color as fair =.= I think even for Koreans, the makeup shades are too light so I hope they manufacture darker shades :)

Goat Milk and Horse Fat are the ingredients which interests me the most these days!

    1. HAHAHA. Horse Fat! I saw a Horse Fat Cream in Saizen Galleria before and I was like, wait, isn't horse purely muscular or predominantly muscular?

  8. it's so white for me i think.. sayang naman.. it has many benefits pa naman. i'm amazed talaga on how you can manage to balance the whiteness of cc cream on your skintone. :)

  9. I already tried the TM Dear Me Petite Cotton BB Cream & Cat Wink BB Cream, the price of the two are just below Php 500.00 each. I like the products because they both blended well with my fair skin tone and it is not sticky to the skin given that my skin is oily/combination. When I saw that this CC Cream has that Tamanu Oil (that doesn't clog the pores) and Goat's Milk that keeps the skin moisturized, Tony Moly is again addressing my need for a good make up. It is worth a try since Tony Moly already proved to me their quality products from my previous purchases. Thank you for this review. :)
