Yesterday, typhoon Lando was already making his presence felt thru bursts of rain and gusts of wind, but that didn't stop the courageous heart of a shopper. It's been a while since I shopped 'til I dropped so when Zalora and P&G invited me to #BeautySquad for some shopping fun, I went. I've been working really hard for the past few months so I totally deserve this break, eh?
#BeautySquad is a fashion and beauty pop- up by Zalora and P&G; It featured curated fashion finds from Zalora's extensive network of brands and P&G's famous products namely Pantene, Gillette, Safeguard, Head And Shoulders, and Olay; It ran from October 17, 2015 to October 18, 2015.
#BeautySquad featured an entire squad that primped and prettified the guests. Jude and Rose Hippolito of premium salon, JuRo, were there and gave everyone fabulous haircuts, and a dedicated team of hairstylists and makeup artists gave everyone a total makeover.
There was also Olay's diagnostic machine that gave everyone free skin diagnosis; The machine determined if the skin was doing bad or good based on percentile ranking on the following categories: dark spots, texture, and wrinkles. My scores were pretty high, thank goodness for good skin care!
Orly gave free nail makeovers for everyone too!
The highlight of the event was shopping for our fave P&G beauty finds. Top picks from the featured brands were laid out at the event; I didn't have to think anymore about what to buy because as a loyal P&G user, I already knew exactly what I wanted!
I hoarded my favorite Olay Body Wash, Safeguard Dermasense Body Wash and Acne Prone Skin Cleaner, Pantene 3 Minute Miracle, and Pantene Hair Fall Control Shampoo. I also purchased Safeguard's new Hair And Body Wash for Men in the scents Sport and Ocean for my brother and BF; these are new from Safeguard and I want to know if the boys will like it.
There goes my haul! :D I hope Zalora and P&G will have more of this in the future!
By the way, you can purchase your favorite P&G brands and products over at Zalora; no need to leave home whenever you need to restock!

Too bad I missed this Zalora event, I love Zalora so much it hurts! And I hope they'll have a repeat of the said event, I would want to shop until I drop also LOL.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know Safeguard has a new hair and body wash for men. I'm sure my husband will like that since he likes Safeguard soaps. I'll look for it when we go grocery shopping. I downloaded the Zalora app and i enjoy browsing at their products list eventhough i can't buy them for now, haha! The event looks so fun. If i had been there, i might have hoarded Olay bodywash and Safeguard bodywash too!

My bf is kinda sensitive though when switching products, so I'll let my brother and father try those instead. :) I love the products you bought, Pantene 3-minute miracle is a true winner. I love Orly nail polish as well. :) I hope I can try that pop up store of Zalora.
