Is the Philippines ready for European beauty brands? I say bring it on! There will be a couple of beauty brands from the European continent that will launch in Fall here in the country and one of them is Nuxe, a favorite French pharmacy brand that is known for Huile Prodigieuse or, to some most especially its loyal users, the "Magic Oil."

In the 90's, Aliza Jabès dreamed of creating a niche skin care brand that harnesses the power of plants and delivers beautiful, youthful skin to women; with her Marketing and Finance background and sincere passion for beauty products (and definitely some help from her loved ones and professional advice from her mentors), she established Nuxe, the skin care brand that she's always dreamed of creating. Nuxe is combination of the words Nature and Luxury, two core characteristics of the brand.

Nuxe's first- ever product is the cult favorite Huile Prodigieuse, a sensual dry oil for the face, hair and body. Aliza wanted it to be effective and sensual, thus she selected the finest, most precious oil extracts and notes of coconut, vanilla, and musk for an enticing fragrance, and the result is a superstar: This dry oil aka "Magic Oil" apparently beautifies visibly, thus French women have lovingly welcomed Nuxe to their vanity tables and later on, the world. At present, Huile Prodigieuse is the number 1 oil in pharmacies in France.

There are two Huile Prodigieuse variants: Original and Or. Original yields a dry, invisible sheen while Or imparts a dry, golden sheen; Both oils have different levels of sensuality, but are similarly divine.

Huile Prodigieuse inspired the creation of skin care prodigies under Nuxe. On top of carrying the number 1 oil in France, Nuxe is also the number 1 anti-aging care and fragrance in parapharmacies in France. All Nuxe products are Paraben, Mineral Oil, and animal- derived ingredients free.

Innovation and Evaluation lies at the heart of each and every Nuxe product. Nuxe is committed to extensive R and D before launching a product/line in the market, making them an expert in natural cosmetology; This admirable dedication to creating fine beauty products has earned them the following recognitions: 211 national and international awards for exceptional quality, 45 patents pending, and they have been awarded twice by the Institut National dela Propriété Industrielle for their R and D strategy in 2007 and 2011.

To date, Nuxe is available in 74 countries and even has 31 spas in France and around the world, clocking in 75,000 treatments each year.

2015: Nuxe debuts in the Philippines under Rustan's and their first brand ambassador is actress/singer/host Nikki Gil.

So how do you like that little story telling over there? I can't contain my excitement when I learned that Nuxe is finally coming to the Philippines; I'm a user of Huile Prodigieuse and finally, I don't have to bug my Parisienne-Pinay friend when I need to restock this! :D

I'm sure you all want to know about the "Magic Oil" so I'll be reviewing that first! I tell you, it's a "Genie In A Bottle"! :D

Nuxe is now available in Beauty Bar, Rustan's Makati, and Rustan's Shangri-La. Visit RUSTAN'S on Facebook for more information about this brand.
