THE VERDICT:

Pink Sugar is slowly making its way into the dressers of makeup- loving Filipinas. Me and my Blogger friends have raved about it and I'm glad to know that according to Beauty Blog readers and followers, we were right about the rave! This is a very promising brand and I love the fact that it's homegrown; my desire to support local brands and entrepreneurs is getting stronger and stronger.

First off from my Pink Sugar bag is Honey I'm Good Eye Liner Duo, a versatile eye liner that has INTENSE pigmentation and it's one of the longest wearing affordable eyeliners I've tried!

PINK SUGAR HONEY I'M GOOD EYE LINER DUO IN DETAIL

This eye liner duo features two essential eye liners to give you defined eyes; It comes in four combinations.

Ingredients

High time that someone thought of combining a liquid liner and pencil; this product will give you heavy or light definition anytime. The liquid liner comes with a felt tip and the pencil liner is retractable; the felt tip applicator's tip tends to wobble and I feel that it will become worn out through regular use and won't be as precise so maybe this is something that Pink Sugar would like to address in the next production. The pencil is slightly creamy and needs to be warmed up before usage.

The liquid liner imparts heavy coverage and the pencil, light to heavy coverage; Pink Sugar balanced out the coverage of both products for us to get the best of both worlds. Pink Sugar offers us something new with the unusual combination of Black and Blue, and the PRO combination of Black and White. The Brown liner features a wonderful kind of Brown: it's the kind of Brown that really looks Brown all throughout and won't get drowned or turn soft black when applied on the lash line. In short, it's true Brown!

PINK SUGAR HONEY I'M GOOD EYE LINER DUO IN DETAIL

I've been using the liquid liner frequently because it defines my eyes quickly and the intensity is right up my alley: it deposits color continuously onto the skin, therefore I get even coverage and a more precise line. The pencil liner, I use on my lower lash line because it yield hair- like, soft strokes, but I wish it were a bit creamier; I can also use this as a brow pencil (The brown shade).

EXPERT TIP: Eyeliners must be applied on matte, dry skin. Don't apply on watery eyes or a moist surface. Otherwise, eyeliners will not set properly and may run off.

Staying power for both products is great: they stay vibrant and true the whole day; they're not waterproof, but could last the whole day. On oily skin, formulas tend to smudge a wee bit on the above crease portion of the eyelid, but it's barely noticeable. Compared to other drugstore eyeliners, this one's one of the toughest I've used!

Pink Sugar Honey I'm Good Eyeliner is a pretty good buy because it features essential liners, it's long- wearing, and I love the finish of the liquid liner that I'm using it everyday ever since I got it; Best for you if you want intense pigmentation, variety, good performance, and affordability in one product!

  10. cool! but I have a love hate relationship with felt tip liners. The tip ends up disfigured after around 2-3 uses. I don't know why! I used a liner before and it worked really well but on my 3rd use the tip just kind of broke off. I didn't even know that as possible XD So I'm thinking of getting brush tips instead of a higher quality liner since my eyelids are kinda plump. I guess the dragging destroyed it too

    1. Because felt products are naturally like that. Maybe a brush will be a good alternative :)
