Unlocking Bobbi Brown's New Secret

Bobbi Brown has worked in countless fashion shows and I'm pretty sure, she's had moments when her under eyes are looking tired, sallow, sullen, wrinkled, and dry, thus she came out with a secret. I unlocked Bobbi's newest secret together with the Press, Online Influencers, and selected Bloggers last week at Raffles Hotel, Makati City.
The Secret: Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Concealer and Corrector, the newest, complementary products to Intensive Skin Serum Foundation, goes beyond concealing; it is formulated to energize, moisturize, and reduce dark circles around the under eyes and excess pigmentation. The products are boosted with Cordyceps Mushroom, Indian Tree Root, and Bamboo Grass.

The Corrector and Concealer complement each other, but are sold separately. Here are a couple of swatches. The dark, peach shade is a corrector and it's my skin match for this particular range. For the concealer, I'm a Natural. For starters, this is a light concealer with pretty great coverage; it's like magic!

I palpitated when I saw the trio of Bobbi's foundation palette, Intensive Skin Serum Foundation, and Concealer on one table; I had to take a photo of them together so I can send it to Santa Claus this coming Christmas and also, as a reminder for me why I work hard LOL. Can somebody buy me that foundation palette??? I will love you forever, swear!

Felix Nguyen, International Makeup Artist for Bobbi Brown, paid us a visit again to demonstrate a dewy skin makeup look for the holidays using the Intensive Skin Serum series. He also dished out a pretty useful tip for those who are torn between and want to know the diff between Bobbi Brown Shimmering Brick and Brightening Brick: If you've got rough skin, go for Brightening Brick instead of Shimmering Brick; the latter reflects light directly onto the skin, shining light on gritty skin texture whereas the former creates a soft, dispersed glow.

The holidays is travel time for a lot of people and this topic was very apt: Felix shared with us his top 5 travel skin essentials:

1. Eye Cream
2. Serum
3. Lip Balm
4. Cleanser
5. Hydrating Mask

I agree with Felix's list; airplane temperature can be very harsh to the skin so definitely, hydrating products are very much needed!

Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Concealer and Corrector are now available in all Bobbi Brown counters. Visit BOBBI BROWN PHILIPPINES on Facebook for more information about these products.

  6. I'm not a corrector, concealer user. Deadma lang kung obvious ang mga discolorations hehe! Tamad and Walang pambili combined. But if Santa mistakenly dropped his Bobbi Brown goodies at my house, i would use them everyday! 😄 By the way, lipbalm is at the top of my travel essentials.
