THE VERDICT:
Looks like BYS has been working real hard on the formulas of their eyeshadows for the past few months or years because truly, I've never been this impressed with their eyeshadow products! First is the Nude series then this: BYS Matte Eyeshadow Palette. This pretty matte palette contains essential neutrals in an easy to work with texture!

This eyeshadow palette contains 8 neutral shades in a pigmented, matte finish.
Ingredients
The case for the palette is a light, plastic in a black hue; there is a window that allows you to see the shades that this palette offers; easier for you to decide if you're gonna buy it or not!
1- Taupe Brown
2- Peachy Beige
3- Cream
4- Greige
5- Black
6- Charcoal Brown
7- Chocolate Brown
8- Gray-White
Consistency is dry with a hint of creaminess, the secret to this product's nice payoff and easy to work with texture; it doesn't leave you with jagged edges, stains, and pigmentation is pretty good at medium to heavy. I also like that the color finish is soft.

The shadows yield minimal fallout; they would also need a primer for them to stay put, but I don't find this an issue because all powder eyeshadows need an eye primer anyway! This product, with its performance, quality, and finish, can be an everyday or PRO product, plus the color selection is pretty sweet! I'd recommend this to anyone who's looking for an affordable yet very good go- to matte neutral eyeshadow palette!

I remember your review about the BYS dupe for naked palettes and now this again. Really BYS is really making revolutionary products that are on point and on budget. I also love that the palette contains neutral shades :)

DeleteA beautiful combination of shades in palette perfect for eye makeup in work and any occassions(^.^) however, I,personally want a palette that has a combination of matte and with shimmers. Still, for me this BYS palette would be great for beginners in eye makeup like me(^_-)
ReplyDeleteAgree! The shades are very beginner friendly as well. I value this palette so much because it's quite easy to find a good shimmer eye shadow palette, but quite hard to find an all matte eye shadow palette!

DeleteIt's great that BYS keeps on improving their products. The shades in the palette looks nice. I haven't tried this one though. My last BYS purchase was an eyebrow pencil. It's more expensive than my other eyebrow pens but it lasts longer.

ReplyDeletePeach beige and cream look light to me but overall I love the color payoff. And the palette is pretty affordable for its quality. But if given to choose between this and the nude palette, I would rather buy the nude. :)
