THE VERDICT:

Sleek MakeUP, I believe, is one of the first- ever brands who thought of combining a blush, contouring powder, and highlighter in one to create one of the handiest cheek palettes around and called it Face Form. Face Form remains as one of Sleek MakeUP's most popular products (and one of the most popular cheek palettes to boot) because not only does it come in a sleek, gorgeous packaging, the products themselves are hell pigmented and quality is amazing too!

SLEEK MAKEUP FACE FORM IN LIGHT IN DETAIL

Face Form is a handy cheek palette that combines complementing contouring powder, highlighter, and blush shades. It comes in four combinations: Fair, Light, Medium, Dark.

The powders come in a thick, sturdy, medium- sized palette with a semi- matte black finish (Sleek is indeed the right term for this makeup line); the palette isn't exactly compact, but it's slim enough that I don't bother bringing it with me everyday.

From left to right, we have the contouring powder, highlighter, and blush. I got the Light palette because I find that Sleek MakeUP's shades tend to be a bit darker than most of its brand counterparts.

Contouring Powder- a toasted Beige shade (matte)
Highlighter- a creamy champagne (frost)
Blush- peach pink (frost)

The powders have medium to heavy pigmentation, are extremely smooth and slightly creamy (perfect for dry skin!), and color coverage is quite true to the pan. The powders have a perfume- like scent, but it isn't too strong; if you're sensitive to fragrances, however, it might put you off since you put the products near the nose.

SLEEK MAKEUP FACE FORM IN LIGHT IN ACTION

One layer of the contouring powder

At first, I thought that the contouring powder would look a bit orange on me, but thankfully, it didn't; it turned out to be a midtone, dusty Beige.

One layer of the Blush

Nars Orgasm dupe alert! Sleek MakeUP's blush is a bit more pigmented though.

One layer of the highlighter on the bridge of the nose and apples

Despite its heavy frost finish, Face Form's highlighter looks pretty natural provided that it is blended well onto the skin.

The powders though have the tendency to sit on top of the skin and the finish, a bit contrived so I have to buff them properly onto my skin until I achieve a natural- looking finish; I'd rather have this than those cheek palettes that have 'blah' coverage or are not true to color!

I admit, I've already encountered a couple of similar palettes already before meeting Face Form, but I'd still say that I prefer the latter more because pigmentation and quality are far better than the other ones I've tried. I also love the overall feel of Face Form so I will recommend this to you if you are looking for an all-in-one, go- to cheek palette!

  1. I bought this also last year because I read it here and I've been waiting for your review on how to use them. And I also found the blush more lile the NARS Orgasm. And I think I will try them because I already know where to apply them on my face because of your review. Thanks Ms. Martha for always sharing the good stuff to your readers!

  2. The colors are all so beautiful in the pan, and they look so smooth..The contour is a good match for you I think in your photo and not at all muddy or orangey..the gorgeous blush shade shows up as vibrantly as it looks in the pan as on your skin and the highlight is a great also, subtle wash of healthy sheen without any detectable glitter..
the packaging is very chic and I super Love the big mirror inside(^.^)

  3. I really want to know your thoughts about this face form as I have said before that this makes me more interested on newest products of Sleek and also the lip cream. Thanks for the review.
For me this is an amazing combo, so multitasking. In addition to fufilling the stated duties of highlighting, contouring and blushing, I think this also works for eyeshadow and brow-filler. Hehe.
The blush colour is lovely for me in your actual photo, the gold flex doesn't show up that makes it more wearable. Plus it's a dupe for nars orgasm so this is awesome. I must say that the blush gives you a perfect glowy cheeks:) I agree that the highlighter looks natural. Love it!

  4. Lovely! Parang ang payat mo sa first photo, Ms. Martha. Anyway, it's nice that Sleek has a product that contains a highlighter, blush and contouring powder. Perfect for on the go kikay kit. I'm just a bit hesitant on the frost finish but i trust you when you said that it looks natural if blended well.

  11. Oh I remember this! I wanted this a few years ago when I saw it online, but I couldn't get one since Sleek is not yet available here then (and hindi ko pa alam ang concept ng online shopping.. Lol)
I think this palette is what started me looking for a blush/highlight/bronzer compact. I'm glad Sleek is finally here, now I can have that palette! Wuhahaha

  15. I know that I definitely have a bit of cheek chub that I like to sculpt and there’s my double chin too which like to pop out on random days without a schedule. So I have to hide that as well! Aaah, so many things to do and such little time. I bet & I hope I get to try this product. But for sure this 3-in-1 palette is going to change my world!

  17. Definitely getting this palette soon. I wanted to get a palette that has contour, highlight and bush in one so that I can freely experiment on contour. I don't want to buy just a contouring set alone kasi parang ang sayang sa pera if di ko naman magagamit. At least with this face form palette, I can still use the blush and the highlight. :) It looks so natural too. And affordable. :)

  18. Hi Martha, comparing this to BYS Sweet Contour Trio (http://i0.wp.com/thebeautycollection.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/DS3_8725aa.jpg) Would you say its the same? I have recently bought the BYS Countour Trio in Sweet and I'm curious if its the same :)

    Thanks!
