A Kuripot's Guide to Skin Spa At Home

We all need to pamper our senses once in a while, but sometimes, the wallet is saying no; and even if you have the money to do so, you simply don't have the time because of all the work, traffic, and not to mention, the effort of going from one place to another.

This is why 'at home' beauty rituals are becoming increasingly popular; from at home massage therapies, microdermabrasion, dermarolling, etc., you name it, and a DIY version is already out there or about to be released.

I can be kuripot (frugal) when it comes to beauty pampering treatments and I'll share with you one of my favorite beauty brands in making this possible: Leaders Insolution.

Leaders Insolution, as you may all know by now, is a Korean brand dedicated to facial/hair/skin masks founded by a group of dermatologists studying in a university. With this brand alone, you can create various DIY Skin Spa regimens at home. I'll show you some samples:

1. REJUVENATING TREATMENT (deep conditioning treatments): Angelring Hair Steam Pack and Skin Clinic Mask in Collagen Lifting

2. HAND AND FOOT PAMPERING COMBO (Rejuvenates and softens)- Dr. Therapy Hand Mask and Dr. Therapy Foot Mask

3. INTENSE WHITENING (Whitens and lifts)- Skin Clinic Melatox and 2-Step Double Effect Whitening

4. ZERO TROUBLE (For blemish- prone skin)- Pore- Scaling Black Aqua Mask and Coconut Bio Mask with Brocolli

5. MOISTURE CHARGE (for hydration and repair)- Amino Moisuter Mask and Amino Therapy Hand Mask

There you go! These are sample rituals using Leaders Insolution masks that you can do right at the comfort of your own home. Do you have your own favorite Leaders Insolution combo? Let us know in the comments section. :)

  2. Haha! I feel like this post is made for me. I love face masks. It is actually relaxing and very pampering. I have only tried one mask from Leaders. I have some left from that large pouch from Kracie and I have to use that up first before trying out different masks from Leaders.

  9. Sheet masks are love. I have a lot of it but I am always contemplating on using it 'cause it costs a bit for one usage (at least for me, especially the special ones). Thank goodness that Etude House, the face shop, and other road shops in S. Korea carries cheaper ones that could be used daily 'cause if not, I won't be saying yes to sheet masks at all.

What I love doing is after putting on the sheet on my face, I spread out the remaining essence on my neck and on different parts of my body as if I am bathing on it. I just feel bad for throwing it away because I paid for it whole! HAHA.
