THE VERDICT:

Is there anyone who still uses tinted sunscreen in the era of BB and CC Creams? I used to love tinted sunscreen when I was still beginning with my makeup journey, but you know, it's something that I've outgrown already; besides, I don't see a lot of tinted moisturizers around anymore. Glad that I am rediscovering it again through Belo Sunexpert Tinted Sunscreen. Sheer and lightweight, this base gives just the right amount of coverage, but a whole lot of protection so you can look pretty and stay protected under the sun.

BELO SUNEXPERT TINTED SUNSCREEN IN MEDIUM TO DARK IN DETAIL

This product promises to perfect and protect skin with SPF 50 PA++++; has Tone Adapt Technology that evens out skin tone, conceals fine lines, and wrinkles, and Cell Protect to protect against premature ageing; it comes in one shade, medium to deep.

Ingredients

It's nice to know that this range is starting to venture into color cosmetics; wish that next time, there will be a concealer and powder under the Sunexpert range; that would be amazing!

Looks like Medium to Deep is the only shade available, but it caters to the common Filipina complexions: fair, medium, and warm; it has a salmon undertone with a hint of yellow, which allows it to minimize the appearance of spots. It has a watery-cream texture that gets absorbed fast, has a light floral scent, and feels light on the skin.

BELO SUNEXPERT PERFECTING SHIELD TINTED SUNSCREEN IN MEDIUM TO DEEP IN ACTION

Bare skin

Two layers of the Tinted Sunscreen

Medium to Deep is a bit light on me, but it's tolerable. Finish is dewy and feels just like sunscreen, but without the thick feel; coverage is sheer and has light to moderate concealing properties. Love that finish is not streaky!

This tinted sunscreen feels just like my skin, but only better; I like that it combines sunscreen and makeup in one and it cuts my preparation time. I also like how it evens out my skin tone naturally and quite effectively! It has poor oil control though, but at least doesn't yield an intense white cast despite the high SPF content.

This product is for those who want to marry sunscreen and makeup in a convenient tube; all in all, it has pretty good quality, finish is great, and I'm happy that it matches Filipina skin tone pretty well! It's ideal for those with normal or dry skin, and those with minimal imperfections.

  1. I also feel the same way. I'm past BB creams and CC creams but I still find them interesting, just not enough for me to buy one. Sad that this one is still a bit light despite it being in the shade "medium to deep". I might give this a pass. Thank you for this post!

  2. Not to mention this is very travel friendly :D You know you don't have to pack separate products like sunblock and moisturizer.

  3. i havent tried using a tinted moisturizer (even in the past years) i choose the bb cream over the tinted moisturizer from the new product release by Belo. thinking sana ito na lang ang kinuha ko instead of the bb cream (medyo light kasi sya sa akin) pero i still like using bb cream from belo.. i havent tried sunblock from belo because i am currently using nivea (for the face) since i read a lot of review that sunblocks from belo brand is lightweight and not sticky i will try it after emptying my current one

  4. I have not tried any tinted sunscreen because I am not particular with the SPF++, but with the scorching heat these days, I think it's a must. Btw, you look so lovely in the picure Ms. M :)

  6. It's so light and watery, I love the texture. However, I made the mistake of not reapplying it after going snorkeling. So I was sporting a sunburned forehead for weeks. Oops.

    1. But Im not sure if it is waterproof. I think for water escapades it is better to use good old sunblock creams bcoz consistency is thick unlike just a moisturizer

  9. I'm using the new "TINTED SUNSCREEN" of Quick FX and I love it, It only costs (99.00) I just like it maybe because this are designed to more lightweight that other liquid foundation.I know that the coverage it provide is not enough for the coverage of my blemish or acne marks. While the product does a great job of evening the skin tone, Even "Belo Sunexpert Perfecting Shield Tinted Sunscreeen) has a high spf 50+++ It doenst yield a white cast♥

  10. Good question! I have always had a tinted one or a bb cream handy because I like switching up my routine and products. Also, I need sun protection as I go out the house when the sun is highest. I find this review really helpful too so two thumbs up TBJ!

  11. The sunscreen of this product is very good and also yan din yung isa ko pang hinahanap sa mga bb, cc or foundation. Yun nga lang umitim ako ngayon kaya hindi pako makakabili niyan. Wala palang pang angkop sakin =(
